Self‐Assembled Moiré Superlattices of Ti3C2Tx MXene for Future Twistronic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Scanning tunneling microscopy imaging reveals self‐assembled Moiré superlattices in MXene with distinct periodicities. The observed Moiré modulates the local density of states due to interlayer electronic coupling. This work provides an atomic‐scale understanding of MXene Moiré physics and establishes a foundation for twistronics in future quantum ...

Precursor Inhomogeneities Influence the Properties of Multimetal Oxides as Shown for LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 Derived from Hydrothermally Synthesized Precursors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Correlative Raman and scanning electron microscopies are used for identifying compositional differences on the micrometer length scale in LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode materials, and it is shown that these compositional differences can be linked to the electrochemical signature of the material. Abstract Co‐precipitation is an attractive means for synthesizing
