Clinical, Laboratory, and Procedural Predictors of No-Reflow in Patients Undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

open access: yesJournal of Tehran University Heart Center, 2020
Background: No-reflow is a major challenging issue in the management of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI).

A Biomimetic Nanoparticle System Intercepts and Degrades Thrombospondin‐1 to Restore Vascular Homeostasis After Ischemic Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TAX2‐NPs capture extracellular TSP‐1 in the injured liver and promote its macrophage‐mediated autophagic degradation. This process blocks TSP‐1/CD47 signaling, restores VEGFR2‐AKT activity, preserves endothelial function, and mitigates hepatic ischemia‐reperfusion injury.

Wettability study of lead free solder paste and its effect towards multiple reflow

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Nowadays, wafer bumping using solder paste has come into focus as it provides a low cost method. However, since the industries are moving towards lead-free electronic packaging, a new type of no-clean flux was produced specifically for lead-free solder ...

Effects of single-dose atorvastatin on interleukin-6, interferon gamma, and myocardial no-reflow in a rabbit model of acute myocardial infarction and reperfusion

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2014
The mechanisms of statins relieving the no-reflow phenomenon and the effects of single-dose statins on it are not well known. This study sought to investigate the effects of inflammation on the no-reflow phenomenon in a rabbit model of acute myocardial ...

Wireless, Adaptable and Fully Implantable Battery‐powered Devices for Optical Stimulation of the Spinal Cord in Small Rodents

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Current technologies for spinal cord optogenetic stimulation rely on external power sources and face reliability constraints in freely behaving animals. Here, a fully implantable, battery‐powered optoelectronic device is introduced, enabling operation in any selected environment with wireless recharging for months‐long stimulation.

Impedance‐Matched High‐Overtone Thickness‐Shear Bulk Acoustic Resonators With Scalable Mode Volume

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bottom‐electrode‐free high‐overtone bulk acoustic resonator is achieved by lateral excitation of antisymmetric thickness‐shear modes on a lithium‐niobate‐on‐silicon platform. Planar electrode geometry eliminates conventional loading along the resonance path and confines acoustic energy within the electrode gap.

Effects of reflow profile and miniaturisation on integrity of solder joints in surface mount chip resistor

open access: yes, 2023
Integrity of solder joints of components in an electronic device is critical to the device reliability. Miniaturisation manufacturing trend in electronic products development has continued to challenge the shear strength of the solder joints in these ...

Electric‐Current‐Induced Phase Transformation in Cu6Sn5 Below Its Equilibrium Transition Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electric current induces a monoclinic‐to‐hexagonal phase transformation in Cu6Sn5 at a measured bulk temperature of ∼120°C, below the equilibrium transition temperature. Ex situ synchrotron x‐ray diffraction, TEM, and matched thermal controls show that current stressing promotes the formation of a retained hexagonal η‐phase post‐stress state not ...
