Probiotics for preventing and treating infant regurgitation: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesMaternal and Child Nutrition, 2022
Infant regurgitation is common during infancy and can cause substantial parental distress. Regurgitation can lead to parental perception that their infant is in pain.

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.

1p36 deletion syndrome: Review and mapping with further characterization of the phenotype, a new cohort of 86 patients

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, Volume 191, Issue 2, Page 445-458, February 2023., 2023
Abstract Chromosome 1p36 deletion syndrome (1p36DS) is one of the most common terminal deletion syndromes (incidence between 1/5000 and 1/10,000 live births in the American population), due to a heterozygous deletion of part of the short arm of chromosome 1.

Cu2ZnSnS4 synthesized through a low-cost reflux method

open access: yesNanotechnology Reviews, 2015
The chalcopyrite semiconductors belonging to the I2-II-IV-VI4 class are emerging as promising absorber materials for photovoltaic applications. Among them, Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) has been gaining importance due to its high absorption coefficient and optimum ...

Multiple Steady States in Heterogeneous Azeotropic Distillation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
In this article we study multiple steady states in ternary heterogeneous azeotropic distillation. We show that in the case of infinite reflux and an infinite number of trays one can construct bifurcation diagrams on physical grounds with the distillate ...

Effect of induced magnetic field on peristaltic flow of a micropolar fluid in an asymmetric channel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Of concern in this paper is an investigation of peristaltic transport of a physiological fluid in an asymmetric channel under long wave length and low-Reynolds number assumptions. The flow is assumed to be incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting micropolar fluid and the effect of induced magnetic field is taken into account.

Unravelling the Atomic Structure of a Metal‐Covalent Organic Framework Assembled from Ruthenium Metalloligands

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

Genetic and phenotypic spectrum in the NONO‐associated syndromic disorder

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, Volume 191, Issue 2, Page 469-478, February 2023., 2023
Abstract The non‐POU domain‐containing octamer‐binding (NONO) protein is involved in multiple steps of gene regulation such as RNA metabolism and DNA repair. Hemizygous pathogenic variants in the NONO gene were confirmed to cause a rare X‐linked syndromic disorder. Through our in‐house diagnostics and subsequent matchmaking, we identified six unrelated
