Laparoscopic treatment of refluxing segmental megaureter

We discuss the case of a 13-year old boy with urinary infection who was preoperatively diagnosed with left vesicoureteral reflux associated with paraurethral saccule. Laparoscopic Lich-Gregoir anti-reflux surgery was then proposed.

Health‐related quality of life following total minimally invasive, hybrid minimally invasive or open oesophagectomy: a population‐based cohort study

All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

Enhancement of Dissymmetry Factors Through Axial Elongation of Hetero[n]helicenes

A benzofuran scaffolding strategy enables the synthesis of hetero[9]‐, [12]‐, and [15]helicenes. Structural and chiroptical analyses demonstrate that systematic axial elongation increases helical distortion and significantly amplifies luminescence dissymmetry.
