4D‐Printed Magneto‐Plasmonic Microrobots for Programmable Spatiotemporal De‐Icing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 4D‐printing strategy is introduced to achieve programmable de‐icing devices. By aligning gold–magnetite nanofillers within a photosensitive resin, the printed structures exhibit dual magnetic and plasmonic functionalities, enabling precise spatio‐temporal ice removal through thermoplasmonic effects.

Respiratory symptoms and gastroesophageal reflux in adult population of more than 20 years old in Shahrekord [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Background and Aim: Association between gastroesophageal reflux (GER) and respiratory diseases has been known for a long time. There are few epidemiological studies on general population in the world, and little is known about a possible association ...

Trispyrazolylborate Ligands Supported on Vinyl Addition Polynorbornenes and Their Copper Derivatives as Recyclable Catalysts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Polynorbornenes prepared by vinyl addition poly- merization and bearing pendant alkenyl groups serve as skeletons to support trispyrazolylborate ligands (Tpx) built at those alkenyl sites.

Halide‐Dependent Photoluminescence and Heavy‐Atom Effects in Low‐Melting Organic–Inorganic Manganese Halides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...

Multiple Steady States in Heterogeneous Azeotropic Distillation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
In this article we study multiple steady states in ternary heterogeneous azeotropic distillation. We show that in the case of infinite reflux and an infinite number of trays one can construct bifurcation diagrams on physical grounds with the distillate ...

Enhancement of Fermentation Performance in the Anaerobic Co-Digestion of Chicken Manure and Corn Straw under Biogas Slurry Reflux via Air Stripping of the Digestate

open access: yesAgronomy
Ammonium inhibition is a key limiting factor for anaerobic digestion when using chicken manure as the main substrate, especially in a digestion system with biogas slurry reflux. Air stripping is usually used as a recycled biogas slurry treatment. In this

Modeling Multi-Wavelength Stellar Astrometry. I. SIM Lite Observations of Interacting Binaries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Interacting binaries consist of a secondary star which fills or is very close to filling its Roche lobe, resulting in accretion onto the primary star, which is often, but not always, a compact object.
