The Correlation between Endoscopic Reflux Esophagitis and Combined Multichannel Intraluminal Impedance-pH Monitoring in Children

open access: yesPediatrics and Neonatology, 2016
Gastroesophageal reflux (GER) is the retrograde flow of gastric contents into the esophagus and may induce a variety of complications. Endoscopically visible breaks in the distal esophageal mucosa are the most reliable evidence of reflux esophagitis ...

Design, synthesis, docking studies and monoamine oxidase inhibition of a small library of 1-acetyl- and 1-thiocarbamoyl-3,5-diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-(1h)-pyrazoles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
New N-acetyl/N-thiocarbamoylpyrazoline derivatives were designed and synthesized in high yields to assess their inhibitory activity and selectivity against human monoamine oxidase A and B.

A Versatile Engineering Platform for the Fabrication of Prosthetic Venous Valves Using Electrospinning

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Percutaneous prosthetic venous valves are fabricated by embedding stents in an electrospun matrix that extends luminally to form leaflets. The design shields leaflets from hyperplastic cells, isolates struts from blood contact, and avoids discrete anchoring points.

Comparison of heat input for rectification at various states of the initial binary mixture

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2012
Comparison of heat input for rectification at various states of the initial binary mixture was carried out. It is shown that the total heat input for rectification is minimal at a column feed of the initial mixture lower than its boiling point.

Correlation of Sacral Ratio and Reflux-Related Renal Injury in Children with Vesicoureteral reflux with and without Nephropathy

open access: yesJournal of Pediatric Nephrology, 2014
Introduction: Vesicoureteral reflux refers to the retrograde flow of the urine from the bladder to the ureter and kidney. The ureteral attachment to the bladder is normally oblique, between the bladder mucosa and detrusor muscle, creating a flap-value mechanism that prevents reflux.

Validation of a multi-residue method to determine deltamethrin and alpha-cypermethrin in mosquito nets by gas chromatography with electron capture detection (GC-µECD) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Background: Nowadays long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets (LNs) are frequently used around the world to protect people against malaria vectors. As they contain insecticide, laboratory control is needed to check whether the content of the active ...

Molecular Design of Highly Efficient Heavy‐Atom‐Free Near‐Infrared Cyanine Photosensitizers for Fluorescence Image‐Guided Photodynamic Therapy of Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Highly efficient heavy‐atom‐free NIR photosensitizers based on a heptamethine cyanine platform were developed for image‐guided photodynamic therapy. Both in vitro and in vivo results revealed that the R820‐3 photosensitizer with a highly twisted molecular structure exhibited potential for NIR fluorescence image‐guided photodynamic cancer therapy ...

Unravelling the Atomic Structure of a Metal‐Covalent Organic Framework Assembled from Ruthenium Metalloligands

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATIC REFLUX RATIO REGULATION SYSTEM FOR THE RECTIFICATION COLUMN

open access: yesBulletin of the South Ural State University. Ser. Computer Technologies, Automatic Control & Radioelectronics, 2020
This article provides an overview of the methods of managing the primary petroleum refining. To improve separation efficiency was proposed to stabilize the reflux ratio in the rectifying column. Purpose of work. To develop a system for automatic regulation of the reflux ratio of diesel fuel sec-tions in an atmospheric column of the refinery oil.
