BGG complexes in singular blocks of category O

open access: yes, 2019
Using translation from the regular block, we construct and analyze properties of BGG complexes in singular blocks of BGG category ${\mathcal{O}}$. We provide criteria, in terms of the Kazhdan-Lusztig-Vogan polynomials, for such complexes to be exact.

Developing an Accounting Virtual Assistant Through Supervised Fine‐Tuning (SFT) of a Small Language Model (SLM)

open access: yesIntelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance and Management, Volume 32, Issue 3, September 2025.
ABSTRACT The development of an in‐house accounting bot—an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant capable of generating internally structured bookkeeping double‐entry posting schemes—is explored in this paper. The processes of curating a suitable dataset, selecting, and fine‐tuning a seven‐billion‐parameter language model, categorized as a small ...

On unitarizability in the case of classical p-adic groups

open access: yes, 2017
In the introduction of this paper we discuss a possible approach to the unitarizability problem for classical p-adic groups. In this paper we give some very limited support that such approach is not without chance.

Between deep comradeship and nationalism: The social dynamics of solidarity on the battlefield

open access: yesNations and Nationalism, Volume 31, Issue 1, Page 47-63, January 2025.
Abstract This article explores the social mechanisms that facilitate the transformation of micro‐level bonds into coherent nationalist narratives of solidarity. The aim is to explain the paradox: while the armed forces are highly nationalist institutions, most ordinary combatants detest nationalist rhetoric on the battlefield. Drawing on the interviews

Synthesis of sexual selection: a systematic map of meta‐analyses with bibliometric analysis

open access: yesBiological Reviews, Volume 99, Issue 6, Page 2134-2175, December 2024.
ABSTRACT Sexual selection has been a popular subject within evolutionary biology because of its central role in explaining odd and counterintuitive traits observed in nature. Consequently, the literature associated with this field of study became vast.

Pion photo- and electroproduction and the chiral MAID interface

open access: yes, 2015
We discuss the extended on-mass-shell scheme for manifestly Lorentz-invariant baryon chiral perturbation theory. We present a calculation of pion photo- and electroproduction up to and including order $q^4$.

Recommendations for asthma monitoring in children: A PeARL document endorsed by APAPARI, EAACI, INTERASMA, REG, and WAO

open access: yesPediatric Allergy and Immunology, Volume 35, Issue 4, April 2024.
Abstract Monitoring is a major component of asthma management in children. Regular monitoring allows for diagnosis confirmation, treatment optimization, and natural history review. Numerous factors that may affect disease activity and patient well‐being need to be monitored: response and adherence to treatment, disease control, disease progression ...

The Stokes–Einstein–Sutherland Equation at the Nanoscale Revisited

open access: yesSmall, Volume 20, Issue 6, February 8, 2024.
The Stokes–Einstein–Sutherland equation relates a particle's diffusion coefficient to its size. Statistical physics postulated the break down for particles comparable in size to the surrounding fluid molecules. Retrieving Stokes' friction coefficient in proper non‐equilibrium conditions, both experiments and simulations are shown to reproduce the ...

Relations between Wiener, hyper-Wiener and some Zagreb type indices [PDF]

open access: yesKragujevac Journal of Science, 2019
In this paper, some inequalities between the Wiener, hyper-Wiener, first Zagreb, second Zagreb, first reformulated Zagreb, second reformulated Zagreb and the general Zagreb indices of a simple graph are given.
