Metabolomic Changes as Key Factors of Green Plant Regeneration Efficiency of Triticale In Vitro Anther Culture [PDF]

open access: yesCells, 2022
Green plant regeneration efficiency (GPRE) via in vitro anther culture results from biochemical pathways and cycle dysfunctions that may affect DNA and histone methylation, with gene expression influencing whole cell functioning.

Glutathione and copper ions as critical factors of green plant regeneration efficiency of triticale in vitro anther culture [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2022
Plant tissue culture techniques are handy tools for obtaining unique plant materials that are difficult to propagate or important for agriculture. Homozygous materials derived through in vitro cultures are invaluable and significantly accelerate the ...

S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine and Cu(II) Impact Green Plant Regeneration Efficiency [PDF]

open access: yesCells, 2022
The biological improvement of triticale, a cereal of increasing importance in agriculture, may be accelerated via the production of doubled haploid lines using in vitro culture. Among the relevant factors affecting the culture efficiency are Cu(II) or Ag(

A concise in vitro model for evaluating interactions between macrophage and skeletal muscle cells during muscle regeneration

open access: yesFrontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, 2023
Skeletal muscle has a highly regenerative capacity, but the detailed process is not fully understood. Several in vitro skeletal muscle regeneration models have been developed to elucidate this, all of which rely on specialized culture conditions that ...

An Efficient Model For Scaffold Mediated Bone Regeneration

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2022
We present a three dimensional, time dependent model for bone regeneration in the presence of porous scaffolds to bridge critical size bone defects. Our approach uses homogenized quantities, thus drastically reducing computational cost compared to models resolving the microstructural scale of the scaffold.

Prediction of thrust force and torque in canal preparation process using Taguchi method and Artificial Neural Network

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2021
Root canal preparation is a vital procedure during the treatment of pulposis and periapical periodontitis. However, the improper control of thrust force and torque in root canal preparation will cause nerve damage and cell necrosis. The aim of this study

Efficient Adventitious Shoot Regeneration in Cicer Milkvetch [PDF]

open access: yesBiotechnology & Biotechnological Equipment, 2003
ABSTRACTA procedure has been developed for high frequency adventitious shoot regeneration from hypocotyls, cotyledon, stem and petiole explants of cicer milkvetch. All explants isolated from in vitro seedlings were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media supplemented with various concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine (BA) and α-naphthaleneacetic ...

Efficient recovery and regeneration of integrated retroviruses [PDF]

open access: yesNucleic Acids Research, 1997
We report a rapid and efficient PCR-based rescue procedure for integrated recombinant retroviruses. Full-length proviral DNA is amplified by long-range PCR using a pair of primers derived from the long terminal repeats (LTR), and virus is regenerated by transfecting retrovirus-packaging cells with the PCR-derived provirus.
