946nm Nd:YAG Regenerative Power Amplifier
2018 International Conference Laser Optics (ICLO), 20180.4J×50Hz, 3ns, 946nm Nd:YAG regenerative power amplifier was developed. The amplifier was based on two tandem O10×140mm laser rods. Relay optics provided re- imaging of the uniform distribution of input beam during multi-pass amplification. Image-rotation allowed to obtain divergence of 1.25×DL compared to 5×DL without the rotation.

Diode-pumped thin disc Yb:YAG regenerative amplifier
Advanced Solid State Lasers, 1997Abstract. A passively modelocked 750-fs Yb:YAG oscilla-tor is used as the seed laser for a diode-pumped thin diskYb:YAG regenerative amplifier. Pulse energies of 180mJ areobtained at repetition rates of up to 750Hz,and120mJ pulseswere achieved at 1kHz. The amplified pulse duration was2 : 3ps, resulting in a pulse peak power of 78MW.Thein-crease in pulse ...

High-gain photonic crystal fiber regenerative amplifier
Optics Letters, 2009We have demonstrated a photonic crystal fiber-based regenerative amplifier at 1.078 microm. The input signal pulse energy is 20 pJ in a 12 ns pulse at a 3 kHz repetition rate. At 8.6 W of input pump power, the amplified output pulse energy is 157 microJ, yielding a gain of 69 dB.

Nd:YLF mode-locked oscillator and regenerative amplifier
Optics Letters, 1987Pulses of 37-psec duration are generated by a cw actively mode-locked Nd:YLF oscillator and subsequently amplified to 2.5 mJ in a cw-pumped Nd:YLF regenerative amplifier operating at a repetition rate of 500 Hz. In comparison, the same system refitted with Nd:YAG gain media produces longer pulses (~80 psec) with lower energy (1 mJ).

Yb^3+:CaYAlO_4-based chirped pulse regenerative amplifier
Optics Letters, 2016The results of an experimental study of the chirped pulse amplification regime are reported for the Yb:CaYAlO4 crystal with different polarization states in the gain media for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. A maximum output power of 4.2 W with 310 fs pulse duration was obtained for σ-polarization at 200 kHz repetition rate seeded by a 85

Regenerative amplifier with pulse-on-demand
SPIE Proceedings, 2012A picosecond regenerative amplifier with pulse on demand operation is demonstrated. The pulse energy is held constant for arbitrary pulse separation by employing an intracavity loss modulator. The loss modulator is controlled by a digital signal processor monitoring the gain of the laser material in real time. The gain is estimated from a measurement

Yb3+:YVO4 Chirped Pulse Regenerative Amplifier
Advanced Solid State Lasers, 2015Yb:YVO4 chirped pulse regenerative amplifier with 4.2W output power and 200fs-pulse duration at 200kHz repetition rate at central wavelength of 1018nm was demonstrated. A novel wavelength-independent off-axis pumping technique provided low quantum defect of 3.5%.

Multimillijoule picosecond regenerative differentiator-amplifier
2008 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2008150-ps-FWHM, 12-mJ pulses have been generated in a diode-pumped regenerative amplifier (DPRA) after differentiating a 3-ns-FWHM, SBS-steepened seeding pulse using a tunable Bragg grating filter as the DPRA resonator spectrally selective mirror.

Regenerative amplifiers with one phase-conjugate mirror
Optics Letters, 1984We study the operating characteristics of a cavity with a gain medium inside and one phase-conjugate mirror as a regenerative amplifier. We show that, for this cavity to work efficiently, the phase-conjugate mirror must have a reflectivity in a certain range determined by the reflectivity of the ordinary mirror.
