On the accuracy of the effective bandwidth regenerative estimation
2014 6th International Congress on Ultra Modern Telecommunications and Control Systems and Workshops (ICUMT), 2014We consider the effective bandwidth (EB) estimation in the networks with the regenerative input. Based on the Lindley's-type recursion for the workload process in discrete and continuous time, we apply a large deviation approach to construct a regenerative estimate of the required EB in the nodes of tandem queuing networks.

Regenerative Effect in Rolling Chatter
Journal of Manufacturing Processes, 2001The regenerative effect has been extensively studied in the field of metal cutting and recognized as one of the major causes of self-excited vibrations commonly known as chatter. In the presence of interactions between rolling mill stands, affecting the overall system dynamics, it will be shown that a tandem rolling mill may also become unstable due to

Regenerative effect of epiregulin-loaded hydrogel
Wound Medicine, 2018Abstract Rapid and efficient wound healing response is essential to maintain whole organism integrity and homeostasis. Such process could be influenced by a plethora of factors that when interfering with the different healing phases finally result in impaired tissue repair.

The “work-regenerative” effect in centreless grinding
International Journal of Machine Tool Design and Research, 1965Abstract The problem of work-regenerative waviness encountered in centreless grinding is discussed with respect to the dynamic characteristics of the machine and the effect of the geometrical configuration of the workpiece in the system of the grinding operation.

The Effects of EDTA on Blood Clot in Regenerative Endodontic Procedures
Journal of Endodontics, 2019In regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs), a blood clot acts as a natural scaffold for regenerating dental pulp tissue. In current protocols, 17% EDTA is recommended for liberating growth factors from root dentin. Although EDTA affects clot formation in periodontal studies, the anticoagulant effect of EDTA has not been shown in REPs. Therefore, this

The regenerative effects of electromagnetic field on spinal cord injury
Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine, 2016Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) is typically the result of direct mechanical impact to the spine, leading to fracture and/or dislocation of the vertebrae along with damage to the surrounding soft tissues. Injury to the spinal cord results in disruption of axonal transmission of signals.

Regenerative effects in the Sit-to-Stand and Stand-to-Sit movement
Robotica, 2014SUMMARYWhile Sit-to-Stand and Stand-to-Sit are routine activities and are crucial pre-requisites to walking and running their underlying dynamics are poorly understood. Furthermore, the potential for using these movements to regenerate energy in energy-sensitive devices such as orthoses, prostheses and humanoid robots has never been examined.
