Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

DTI analysis methods: Region of interest analysis [PDF]
Region of interest (ROI) analysis is a widely used method for the analysis of DTI data. An anatomically defined region—either based on anatomical borders or a geometrical shape—is used to extract DTI measures for each subject, which can later be analyzed

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.

A partitioned construction method for electromagnetic spectrum maps in urban obstacle environments [PDF]
A partition-based electromagnetic spectrum map construction method suitable for urban obstacle environments is proposed to address the issue that traditional electromagnetic spectrum map (EMSM) construction focuses on data sampling around radiation ...

Encapsulins are protein nanocompartments that play an important role in iron storage. In the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin system, two cargo proteins called EncB and EncC contribute to iron mineralization. Here, we show that EncB and EncC generate iron‐containing minerals with distinct chemical compositions, suggesting that the composition of stored ...

Medical Image Watermarking Technique for Accurate Tamper Detection in ROI and Exact Recovery of ROI
In telemedicine while transferring medical images tampers may be introduced. Before making any diagnostic decisions, the integrity of region of interest (ROI) of the received medical image must be verified to avoid misdiagnosis. In this paper, we propose
