Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

TISSUE DOPPLEROGRAPHY IN EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF FUNCTIONAL MYOCARDIAL DISORDERS IN ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

open access: yesРациональная фармакотерапия в кардиологии, 2016
Aim. To determine the potential of tissue Dopplerography (TDG) for early diagnosis of functional myocardial disorders in patients with arterial hypertension (HT).Material and methods. 66 patients with HT were examined.

The role of large arteries in controlling blood flow to the hand during severe local cooling.

open access: yes, 1995
PhDCold vasodilatation describes the increase in blood flow that follows initial vaso constriction when an extremity is exposed to an environment colder than 12'C. It appears to be due mainly to cold paralysis of local resistance vessels.

Regional neurohypophyseal blood flow and its control in adult sheep

open access: yes, 1981
Regional neurohypophyseal and cerebral blood flows were measured by the radiolabeled microsphere technique in 30 adult sheep under light barbiturate anesthesia. Regional blood flows were determined under basal conditions. The responses of regional blood

Soft Neural Interfaces for Circuit‐Level Analysis of Magnetogenetic Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease Models

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Magnetogenetic deep brain stimulation (MG‐DBS) represents a wireless neuromodulation that has demonstrated long‐lasting behavioral benefits in Parkinson's disease models. However, the circuit‐level mechanisms underlying these therapeutic effects have remained uncharacterized due to limitations of conventional neural interfaces.

Effect of propranolol on regional myocardial function in anesthetized open-chest dogs with myocardial ischemia

open access: yes, 1978
Effects of propranolol on ischemic segmental function were studied in anesthetized open-chest dogs. Two segment-length gauges were used for measuring the regional myocardial function: one was sutured on to the left ventricular surface perfused by the ...

Extracellular Vesicles Modulation by an Adiponectin Receptor Agonist Provides Cardioprotection for Myocardial Ischemic Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that ALY688, a drug mimicking the heart‐protective hormone adiponectin, reduces myocardial ischemia injury. ALY688 increases the production of extracellular vesicles, which carry protective cargo including adiponectin itself.
