The dynamics of regional and global expansion
The Multinational Business Review, 2015Purpose– The purpose of this paper is to model and test the dynamics of home-regional and global penetration by multi-national enterprises (MNEs).Design/methodology/approach– Drawing on international business (IB) theory, the authors model MNEs adjusting their home-regional and global market presence over time. The authors test the resulting hypotheses

Region Expansion Algorithm: A Well-Quality Region Proposal Generation
2018 8th International Conference on Computer and Knowledge Engineering (ICCKE), 2018This paper proposes an efficient algorithm to appropriately generate a limited number of regions, socalled a region proposal algorithm, for resolving computer vision problems. The most important challenge in region proposal technique is to accurately produce a limited number of regions. This literature introduces an algorithm to answer to the challenge

Point matching via affine region expansion
2014 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2014In this work, we present a novel scheme for accurate affine transformation estimation that enables locating large amount of point matches with high geometric precision and low rate of false matches. We show that this is achievable in low computational demand. Point matching is one of the most fundamental tasks in computer vision.

Capacity Expansion for Regional Wastewater Systems
Journal of Environmental Engineering, 1990A simple yet effective approach is presented for solving regional wastewater treatment system capacity expansion problems. The approach decomposes a model into two levels, upper and lower. The lower level treats the subproblems related to separate facilities of a regional treatment system.

Interaction Region of Turbulent Expansion-Corner Flow
AIAA Journal, 1998Narasimha and Sreenivasan mentioned that the interaction region appears to be insensitive to the corner deflection angle for supersonic flow. Here, this statement is corroborated for a low supersonic Mach number in conjunction with the work of Lu and Chung, which allows conclusions to be drawn concerning Mach number effects on the extent of the ...
