Development of regional input-output tables for Northern Ghana: An analysis using location quotient methods

open access: yesCogent Social Sciences
We developed regional input–output tables for Northern Ghana using the latest 2018 national input-output table for Ghana and the 2021 Ghana population and housing census data.

Does consistency with detailed national data matter for calculating carbon footprints with global multi-regional input–output tables? A comparative analysis for Belgium based on a structural decomposition

open access: yesJournal of Economic Structures, 2018
Consistency with detailed national data is an important challenge when using multi-regional input–output (MRIO) tables for carbon footprint analysis at the national level.

A new approach to modelling the input–output structure of regional economies using non-survey methods

open access: yesJournal of Economic Structures, 2021
This paper proposes a new approach to the regionalization of national input–output tables where suitable regional data are scarce and analysts are considering using location quotients (LQs).

Infusible Extracellular Matrix Biomaterial Enhances Cell‐Specific Pro‐Repair Responses Following Acute Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We measure the cell‐specific responses of administering infusible ECM (iECM) in acute myocardial infarction (MI) across multiple timepoints. Using single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, we measure macrophage activation, fibroblast remodeling, increased vascular development, lymphangiogenesis, cardioprotection, and neurogenesis ...

Statistical Estimation of Input-Output Tables for the Russian Far East

open access: yesПространственная экономика, 2005
A technical approach is given to estimating and balancing of regional input-output tables based on tabulation of resources and of the use of goods and services’ resources and their further transformation into a symmetrical table.

Improved Estimation of Regional Input–Output Tables Using Cross-regional Methods

open access: yesRegional Studies, 2010
Many regional input–output tables are estimated by means of non-survey methods. Often, information on the margins of the projected table is complemented by full information on intermediate inputs from tables for other regions. This paper compares the performance of four of such ‘cross-regional’ methods.

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.

An HEI-Disaggregated Input-Output Table for Scotland [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper describes how the education sector of the Scottish Input-Output tables is disaggregated to identify a separate sector for each of Scotland’s twenty Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

One‐Dimensional Materials Supported in Two‐Dimensional Van der Waals Metal–Organic Frameworks with Optical Anisotropy Switching via Twist‐Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.
