ABSTRACT Objective Quantitative markers of cortical excitability may help identify responders to anti‐seizure medications (ASMs). We studied the relationship between ASM load and two electroencephalography (EEG) markers of cortical excitability in people with refractory epilepsy. Methods We included individuals with refractory focal epilepsy undergoing

Study of the conformal region of the SU(3) gauge theory with domain-wall fermions [PDF]
We investigate the phase structure of the SU(3) gauge theory with $N_f=8$ by numerical simulations employing the massless Domain-Wall fermions. Our aim is to study directly the massless quark region, since it is the most important region to clarify the properties of conformal theories.

Spinal Cord Abnormalities in Early Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Spinal cord lesions and atrophy in the cervical region are common in adult multiple sclerosis (MS) and correlate with disability. Whether similar abnormalities occur in pediatric MS patients is largely unknown. Clinical and MRI evaluations were performed in 38 pediatric MS patients and 13 healthy controls (HC).

Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Earnings, and Work Loss: A Nationwide Matched Cohort Study
Objective This study compares trajectories of earnings and work loss in individuals with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) versus matched comparators from the general population. Methods Patients with JIA (n = 4,737) were identified in the Swedish National Patient Register (2001–2017) and individually matched to up to five general population ...

Arrangements of circles, the regions surrounded by them and labeled Poincaré-Reeb graphs [PDF]
We are interested in arrangements of circles and the regions surrounded by them. {\it Poincar\'e-Reeb graphs} have been fundamental and strong tools in studying shapes of regions surrounded by real algebraic curves, since around 2020. They are natural graphs the regions naturally collapse to and were first formulated by Sorea with several researchers ...
