High‐Speed, Maneuverable, and Terrain‐Adaptive Micro‐Robot with Tree Frog‐Inspired Bionic Feet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 7.5 mm micro‐robot integrates tree frog‐inspired bionic feet with an electromagnetic linear motor to achieve high‐speed locomotion, slope climbing, and precise turning. It reaches 39 body lengths per second and ascends 30° slopes. The system demonstrates strong potential for inspection tasks in confined and complex environments, such as micro‐aero ...

Osmotic Tension Asymmetry Drives Electrotactic Migration via PDLIM7‐Polarized Microfilament Coordination in Breast Cancer Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an electric field‐induced directional migration model using fluorescence tension probes to visualize microfilament forces and intracellular osmotic pressure dynamics in the electrotactic migration of breast cancer cells. This model delineates how electromechanical interactions among membrane potential, ion channels, OP, traction ...

Analysis and Insights on Regular Polygon Loop Antennas With Attenuating Current: Axial Ratio Deterioration and Recovery

open access: yesIEEE Access
The current along a loop antenna is characterized by either a propagation constant ( $\alpha + j\beta $ ) or ( $\alpha - j\beta $ ). Understanding the impact of the propagation constant on the axial ratio is crucial for maintaining the performance of ...

Mussel‐Bioinspired Edible Ca2+‐Crosslinked Alginate Hydrogel Electrodes for Glucose Gastrointestinal Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully edible soft electrode is engineered from Ca2⁺‐crosslinked alginate integrated with polydopamine, silver nanoparticles, and food‐grade glucose oxidase. The hybrid hydrogel combines ionic and electronic conduction, enabling efficient glucose‐to‐H2O2 conversion and catalytic reduction in simulated intestinal fluid.

Shape‐Determined Kinetic Pathways in 2D Solid–Solid Phase Transitions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By simulating 2D ball‐stick pentagon, hexagon, and octagon systems, the kinetics of solid–solid phase transition is investigated, which is characterized by the loss of body‐orientation order. During which, the local defects of body‐orientation self‐organize into three different patterns, originated from the shape‐determined kinetic pathways, which may ...

Periodic skyrmionic textures via conformal cartographic projections

open access: yesAPL Photonics
We find periodic skyrmionic textures via conformal cartographic projections that map either an entire spherical parameter space or a hemisphere onto every regular polygon that provides regular tessellations of the plane.

Spatial hotspot detection using polygon propagation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2019
Spatial scan statistics is one of the most important models in order to detect high activity or hotspots in real world applications such as epidemiology, public health, astronomy and criminology applications on geographic data. Traditional scan statistic
