The electrical response matrix of a regular 2n-gon
Consider a unit-resistive plate in the shape of a regular polygon with 2n sides, in which even-numbered sides are wired to electrodes and odd-numbered sides are insulated.

Permanent Plasma Surface Functionalization of Internal Surface Areas
With applications in various fields including biomedical sciences, textiles, or filter industry, stable functionalization of porous membranes is indispensable. Plasma‐activated species with specific reactivities infiltrate porous substrates at different penetration depths due to their distinct energies and diffusivities.

Theoretic--model Properties of Regular Polygons [PDF]
This work is dedicated to the results were got in the model theory of the regular polygons. We give the characterization of the monoids with axiomatizable and model complete class of regular polygons. We describe the monoids with complete class of regular polygons which satisfy the additional conditions.

Attaching handles to Delaunay nodo\"{\i}ds
For all $m \in \mathbb N - \{0\}$, we prove the existence of a one dimensional family of genus $m$, constant mean curvature (equal to 1) surfaces which are complete, immersed in $\mathbb R^3$ and have two Delaunay ends asymptotic to nodo\"{\i}dal ends ...

Alignment, Rising, Sticking, and Phototaxis: Modulating the Behavior of Hematite Micropeanuts
Although a rich variety of behaviors, such as rising and phototaxis, are observed with light‐activated semiconductor microparticles, the experimental conditions under which such behaviors occur have not been elucidated. In this study, pH, fuel concentration, and light intensity are varied, revealing diverse behaviors of hematite microparticles.

Munsell and Ostwald colour spaces: A comparison in the field of hair colouring
Left: Partial 3D representations of Ostwald (top) and Munsell (bottom) colour‐order systems. Right and centre: parallel between Munsell colour attributes (Hue, Value, Chroma) and hair colour attributes (nuance, tone, intensity). Abstract Colour science has had a very long history, dotted over the millennia with many contributions from the most diverse ...

Regular Polygonal Complexes of Higher Ranks in E^3 [PDF]
The paper establishes that the rank of a regular polygonal complex in 3-space E^3 cannot exceed 4, and that the only regular polygonal complexes of rank 4 in 3-space are the eight regular 4-apeirotopes.

Using QCM‐D for Real‐Time Analysis of Cell Adhesion Dynamics at Biointerfaces
This study explores adhesion of human fibroblasts to functionalized biomaterial surfaces. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) is used to measure cell responses in real time. The QCM‐D signalis correlated with changes in cell morphology and focal adhesion kinase (FAK) activation. This data shows a positive correlation between the energy

Central Configurations Formed By Two Twisted Regular Polygons [PDF]
In this paper, we study the necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the central configurations formed by two twisted regular polygons (one N-regular polygon and one L-regular polygon). We wish to extend the results of the symmetrical central configurations formed by two twisted N-regular polygons, however, it will be proved that there are ...

On the Polynomials Orthogonal on Regular Polygons
AbstractThe two-parameter Pastro–Al-Salam–Ismail (PASI) polynomials are known to be bi-orthogonal on the unit circle with continuous weight function when ...
