On GP- Ideals [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2009
In this work we give some new properties of GP- ideals as well as the relation between GP- ideals, - π regular and simple ring. Also we consider rings with every principal ideal are GP- ideals and establish relation between such rings with strongly ...

Iterated socles and integral dependence in regular rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Let $R$ be a formal power series ring over a field, with maximal ideal $\mathfrak m$, and let $I$ be an ideal of $R$ such that $R/I$ is Artinian. We study the iterated socles of $I$, that is the ideals which are defined as the largest ideal $J$ with $J ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

On Semiabelian π-Regular Rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
A ring R is defined to be semiabelian if every idempotent of R is either right semicentral or left semicentral. It is proved that the set N(R) of nilpotent elements in a π-regular ring R is an ideal of R if and only if R/J(R) is abelian, where J(R) is ...

On Rings whose Maximal Essential Ideals are Pure [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2007
This paper introduces the notion of a right MEP-ring (a ring in which every maximal essential right ideal is left pure) with some of their basic properties; we also give necessary and sufficient conditions for MEP – rings to be strongly regular rings and

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Simple modules over Auslander regular rings

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
In this paper, we discuss the properties of simple modules over Auslander regular rings with global dimension at most 3. Using grade theory, we show the right projective dimension of ExtΛ1(S,Λ)$\begin{array}{} \text{Ext}_{{\it\Lambda}}^{1}(S,\ {\it ...

On Almost Weakly np – injective Rings [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2018
The ring R is called right almost weakly np –injective, if for any , there exists a positive integer n and a left ideal  of R such that . In this paper, we give some characterization and properties of almost weakly np – injective rings.

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Metrically complete regular rings [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1982
This paper is concerned with the structure of those (von Neumann) regular rings R which are complete with respect to the weakest metric derived from the pseudo-rank functions on R, known as the N*-metric. It is proved that this class of regular rings includes all regular rings with bounded index of nilpotence, and all 80-continuous regular rings.
