Trace Metals and Regular Dialysis
1979Although the emphasis on identifying uremic toxins has centered around organic compounds, it is now apparent that inorganic solutes also may be responsible for some of the symptomatology of the uremic state. The importance of such electrolyte disturbances as the cardiac and neuromuscular effects of hyperkalemia and hypermagnesemia, the extraskeletal ...

Trace norm regularized canonical correlation analysis
2016 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics (ICMLC), 2016Canonical correlation analysis(CCA) is a popular technique that works for finding the correlation between two sets of variables. However, CCA faces the problem of small sample size in dealing with high dimensional data. Several approaches have been proposed to overcome this issue, but the resulting transformation matrix fails to extract shared ...

Regular Trace Formula and Base Change Lifting
American Journal of Mathematics, 1988A trace formula for regular test function is called here a regular trace formula. Such a formula is established here for \(\mathrm{GL}(2)\) and is applied to prove the cyclic base change theory for \(\mathrm{GL}(2)\).

Pauli-Villars regularization and trace anomalies
Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1978The trace of the vacuum stress tensor is calculated using the Pauli-Villars regularization. A momentum-space calculation up to second order of perturbation theory gives usual expressions for the trace anomalies. The anomalies arise as a contribution of infinitely massive fields (regulators).

Decision problems for regular trace languages
1987We solve the open problem of characterizing those concurrency alphabets for which the equivalence problem for regular trace languages is decidable. We also give a characterization for the cases in which the intersection emptiness problem is decidable.

Regularized Traces for a Class of Singular Operators
Differential Equations, 2001The author considers the operator \((-1)^n \frac{d^{2n}}{dx^{2n}} +x\) in \(L^2[0,\infty)\), with the boundary conditions \(y^{(k_m)}(0)=0 ...
