The Effects of NAA on the Tuberous Root Yield and Quality of Rehmannia glutinosa and Its Regulatory Mechanism by Transcriptome and Metabolome Profiling

open access: yesCurrent Issues in Molecular Biology, 2022
Naphthylacetic acid (NAA) was used to increase the tuberous root yield of Rehmannia glutinosa, but the differences between its NAA-treated and control tuberous roots (NT and CG) and the regulatory mechanism of NAA effect remain unclear.

The Anti‐Inflammatory Effect of Yangyin Tongnao Granule on Cerebral Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury in Rats

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study shows that Yangyin Tongnao (YYTN) granule alleviates brain damage and functional deficits in MCAO rats. Mechanistically, YYTN inhibits the activation of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway and downstream NLRP3 inflammasome and reduces both systemic (plasma IL‐18, TNF‐α) and local cerebral (IL‐6, IL‐1β mRNA) inflammatory markers.

Xuming Zhusan Decoction Attenuates Post‐Stroke via Modulating TLR4/MYD88/NF‐κB Pathway in Mice

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
High‐dose Xuming Zhusan (XMZS) improves neurological/cognitive functions and reduces cerebral infarct in MCAO mice. It inhibits microglial activation and pro‐inflammatory cytokines via suppressing the TLR4/MYD88/NF‐κB pathway, protecting neurons. ABSTRACT Ischemic stroke induces neuroinflammation that exacerbates neuronal damage.

Jiawei Danxuan Koukang and Its Component Kaempferol Alleviate Oral Submucous Fibrosis by Restoring Epithelial‐Fibroblast Homeostasis and Suppressing Neutrophil Recruitment via the ANXA1/FPR2 Axis

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 4, April 2026.
JDK and kaempferol upregulate ANXA1 in oral epithelia, which bind to fibroblast FPR2 to suppress myofibroblast activation, and collagen deposition, while reducing neutrophil recruitment and inflammation, thereby restoring epithelial‐fibroblast homeostasis to alleviate arecoline‐induced OSF. ABSTRACT Oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) is a betel quid chewing‐

Dietary supplementation with Rehmannia glutinosa catalpol improves broiler performance by regulating intestinal immune microenvironment

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science
Plant extracts have been widely considered as a feed additive. Rehmannia glutinosa catalpol can promote the growth performance of the host, improve the immune response, and strengthen the intestinal barrier function of the host.

Mechanism of paraquat resistance in crassocephalum crepidioides (Benth.) S. moore during immature stage [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The mechanism of paraquat resistance in Crassocephalum crepidioides at the six-leaf stage was investigated. The extractable paraquat was not metabolized fly the leaf tissue in the resistant (R) and susceptible (S) biotypes.
