Density peak clustering based on relative density relationship
Pattern Recognition, 2020Abstract The density peak clustering algorithm treats local density peaks as cluster centers, and groups non-center data points by assuming that one data point and its nearest higher-density neighbor are in the same cluster. While this algorithm is shown to be promising in some applications, its clustering results are found to be sensitive to density

Relative Density and Relative Compaction
Journal of the Soil Mechanics and Foundations Division, 1971Since the pioneering work of R. R. Proctor some 40 years ago, soil mechanics engineers and contractors have been accustomed to evaluating a compacted fill in terms of relative compaction. Because of the many similarities, the terms relative compaction and relative density can be confused.

Archaeology in Oceania, 1995
AbstractIn an attempt to overcome biases resulting from small sample size, we examine the potential of relative density, which Ambrose (n.d.; 1994) and Green (1987) have proposed is a non‐destructive, inexpensive, and easy technique for characterising the chemical composition of obsidian from the different sources in Melanesia.

On the relative density of clouds
Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, 2017A simple analysis of the relative density of clouds with respect to dry and/or moist air is presented using modern and standard definitions. The results are consistent with current knowledge in atmospheric science and offer justification to common inadvertent simplifications used in the scientific literature.

Relative Density Estimation with Censored Data
The Canadian Journal of Statistics / La Revue Canadienne de Statistique, 2000Summary: Well-described tools for comparing two populations via their cumulative distribution functions \(F\) and \(F_0\) are the so-called relative distribution \(R\left( t\right) =F\left\{ F_0^{-1}\left( t\right) \right\} \) and the corresponding relative density (or grade density) r(t).

Single homopolymers in the relative density representation
Physical Review E, 2001A single symmetric homopolymer is studied in the grand ensemble of its monomeric units. For an arbitrary external field but next neighbor interactions alone, such a system is represented as a functional of the local density to local fugacity ratio, conjugate to the fugacity, with the excess grand potential as thermodynamic generating function. A sample

The Framework of Relative Density-Based Clustering
2017Density-based clustering, using two-phase scheme which consists of an online component and an offline component, is an effective framework for data stream clustering, it can find arbitrarily shaped clusters and capture the evolving characteristic of real-time data streams accurately.
