The Relativity Theory of Plane Waves

open access: yes, 1926
Weyl has shown that any gravitational wave of small amplitude may be regarded as the result of the superposition of waves of three types, viz.: (i) longitudinal-longitudinal; (ii) longitudinal-transverse; (iii) transverse-transverse.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Derivation method of numerous dynamics in the Special Theory of Relativity

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2019
The article presents innovative method of deriving dynamics in the Special Theory of Relativity. This method enables to derive infinitely many dynamics in relativistic mechanics. The authors have shown five examples of these derivations.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Unruh effect of nonlocal field theories with a minimal length

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
The nonlocal field theory commonly requires a minimal length, and so it appears to formulate the nonlocal theory in terms of the doubly special relativity which makes the speed of light and the minimal length invariant simultaneously. We set up a generic

Theory of Relativity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of General Internal Medicine, 2013
You’ll be one of those people who gets used to the long hours. You’ll beat the traffic going in and coming home. Weather will not stop you. You’ll know every shade of night. You’ll know the facts and when and how to share them. You’ll take call and look like you slept in it or stepped in it. You’ll know how to get the blood out.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

A Resolution of Cosmic Dark Energy via a Quantum Entanglement Relativity Theory

open access: yes, 2013
A new quantum gravity formula accurately predicting the actually measured cosmic energy content of the universe is presented. Thus by fusing Hardy’s quantum entanglement and Einstein’s energy formula we have de facto unified relativity and quantum ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...
