Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Galilean relativity – Explained by means of the triangle solutions

open access: yesResults in Physics
This paper presents a novel approach to understanding relativity through the lens of the triangle solutions. Triangle solutions will serve as a mathematical model for relativity.

Numerical Relativity as a New Tool for Fundamental Cosmology

open access: yesPhysics, 2022
Advances in our understanding of the origin, evolution, and structure of the universe have long been driven by cosmological perturbation theory, model building, and effective field theory.

Relativistic Constraints for a Naturalistic Metaphysics of Time [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The traditional metaphysical debate between static and dynamic views in the philosophy of time is examined in light of considerations concerning the nature of time in physical theory.

Energy and Momentum densities of cosmological models, with equation of state $\rho=\mu$, in general relativity and teleparallel gravity

open access: yes, 2006
We calculated the energy and momentum densities of stiff fluid solutions, using Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson and Landau-Lifshitz energy-momentum complexes, in both general relativity and teleparallel gravity.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Derivation method of numerous dynamics in the Special Theory of Relativity

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2019
The article presents innovative method of deriving dynamics in the Special Theory of Relativity. This method enables to derive infinitely many dynamics in relativistic mechanics. The authors have shown five examples of these derivations.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Unruh effect of nonlocal field theories with a minimal length

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
The nonlocal field theory commonly requires a minimal length, and so it appears to formulate the nonlocal theory in terms of the doubly special relativity which makes the speed of light and the minimal length invariant simultaneously. We set up a generic

The effective field theory treatment of quantum gravity

open access: yes, 2012
This is a pedagogical introduction to the treatment of quantum general relativity as an effective field theory. It starts with an overview of the methods of effective field theory and includes an explicit example.
