Dielectric properties of a bisimidazolium salt with dodecyl sulfate anion doped with carbon nanotubes

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, 2018
A new bisimidazolium salt with dodecyl sulfate as counterion has been designed and prepared. This salt shows a SmA phase that is stable at room temperature. The new ionic liquid crystal (ILC) was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR spectroscopy.

Quantitative Cross Polarization Magic-Angle Spinning NMR Spectroscopy in Solids

open access: yesChinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2020
The combination of cross polarization and magic-angle spinning (CP/MAS), is a routine technique for signal enhancement in solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrum. With CP/MAS, the acquisition efficiency of solid-state NMR experiments can be

Dielectric Relaxation Spectroscopy and Synergy Effects in Epoxy/MWCNT/Ni@C Composites

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
The dielectric/electric properties of the Ni@C (carbon-coated Ni)/epoxy composites and Ni@C/MWCNTs (multi-walled carbon nanotubes)/epoxy composites loaded with fixed MWCNTs amount just below the percolation threshold (0.09 vol.%) and Ni@C at different ...

The Effect of Temperature on the Rheological Behavior of Polyethylene Oxide (Peo) Solutions

open access: yesApplied Rheology, 2013
The rheological properties of polyethylene oxide (PEO) solutions were investigated, at different temperatures, using small and large deformation rheological methods.

Various time-scales of relaxation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2016
Via gauge-gravity duality, relaxation of far-from-equilibrium initial states in a strongly coupled gauge theory has been investigated. In the system we consider in this paper there are two ways where the state under study can deviate from its equilibrium: anisotropic pressure and time-dependent expectation value of a scalar operator with Δ=3.

Waveform Relaxation with Asynchronous Time-integration

open access: yesACM Transactions on Mathematical Software, 2022
We consider Waveform Relaxation (WR) methods for parallel and partitioned time-integration of surface-coupled multiphysics problems. WR allows independent time-discretizations on independent and adaptive time-grids, while maintaining high time-integration orders.
