A Programmable Pulse Sequence Generator for an NMR Relaxometer
Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2005A pulse sequence generator for NMR relaxometer is described. The operation mode is loaded into the internal memory of the device by a program from a personal computer via a PCI bus. The project is realized on two MAX7000S and Cyclone (Altera) chips using the Qartus II 4.0 software.

Pulse Train Microprocessor Programmer for NMR Relaxometers-Diffusiometers
Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2002A pulse train programmer for a spin-echo NMR relaxometer-diffusiometer is based on an AT89C51-24PC microcontroller. The programmer ensures the arbitrary generation of pulse trains with a minimum train step of 30 μs and recording of up to 30 000 10-bit amplitudes of spin-echo NMR signals with a minimum quantization step of 3 μs. The all-in-one one-board

Magnetic Particle Fingerprinting using Arbitrary Waveform Relaxometer
2020In magnetic particle imaging (MPI), the information about the local environment, such as its viscosity and temperature, can be inferred via the relaxation behavior of the nanoparticles. As the nanoparticle signal also changes with drive field (DF) parameters, one potential problem for quantitative mapping applications is the optimization of these ...

Methodical issues of investigations with laboratory NMR relaxometer
Proceedings, 2016Pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is one of the most perspective methods for studying reservoir properties of the core samples. This report analyzes the methodological issues of laboratory studies with a portable NMR relaxometer. We propose a method and software for NMR experiment parameters selection, providing the highest level of the observed ...

Comparison of different coil topologies for an MPI relaxometer
2015 5th International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging (IWMPI), 2015Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) has gained a variety of potential applications since its first introduction in 2005 [1]. It offers safe tracers with applications in angiography, stem cell tracking, and cancer imaging [2]. The response of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) nanoparticles strongly affects the quality of the MPI images, which is a unique ...

Helical Spring Stress Relaxometer
Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1957Abstract Changes in the tensile properties of rubber are obviously of great practical importance. Consequently, measurements of the change in force required to maintain or produce a given extension under controlled conditions of temperature and atmosphere have frequently been made and have advanced our understanding of the physical process of ...

Design and construction of a high sensitivity self-shielded relaxometer
2015 5th International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging (IWMPI), 2015An MPI spectrometer [1-3] measures the harmonics generated when a nonlinear SPIO is excited by a sinusoidal field. The harmonic peak spectrum allows for comparing SPIOs spatial resolution, since the harmonics are related to the modulation transfer function of the MPI imaging PSF [4-5].

Using the NMR Relaxometer in Laboratory Petrophysical Analysis
Proceedings, 2013In our laboratory the NMR method has been used for analysis of core samples. Inaccuracy of results has been estimated. All results have been compared with traditional methods of analysis. Pore space structure changes during different technical influence to rock, also when the drilling fluid flows through core, we used NMR relaxometer for determination ...

A Multiple-Unit Stress Relaxometer
Textile Research Journal, 1954The application of an improved resistance-wire strain gage [3] to a multiple-unit instrument for the measurement of stress relaxation in single fibers is described. Forces are autographically recorded with a precision and accuracy of better than 3 mg. or 1/2% of full scale.

Untuned MPI relaxometer for nanoparticle characterization at arbitrary frequencies
2015 5th International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging (IWMPI), 2015MPI resolution and SNR are driven by the magnetic response of the iron oxide nanoparticles. Prior work has shown that magnetic nanoparticles respond differently to a wide range of excitation frequencies and amplitudes. Most prior work on MPI spectrometers and relaxometers have tuned the transmit coil at a single frequency.1-3 In contrast, in this work,
