An NMR Relaxometer for Measuring Age-Related Muscle Loss

Biomedical Engineering, 2021
The paper describes a table-type NMR-relaxometer for measuring spin-spin relaxation times of protons in living tissues. The proton spin relaxation times depend on the average number of paramagnetic centers in the medium under study; in particular, they are indicative of the difference in the intensity of the metabolic processes in the cellular ...

Dynamic Stress Relaxometer, a New Processability Instrument

Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1976
Abstract Increasing demands for economical, efficient, and high-production output rates require better control on processing methods in the factory. Good processing depends very much upon the uniformity of materials at each stage of the operation.

The Neuromuscular Transmission Module Versus the Relaxometer Mechanomyograph for Neuromuscular Block Monitoring

Anesthesia & Analgesia, 2002
The neuromuscular transmission module (M-NMT) is an integrated piezoelectric motion sensor module incorporated in the AS/3(TM) anesthesia monitor. We compared the neuromuscular block of 0.6 mg/kg rocuronium (twice the 95% effective dose) monitored by the M-NMT with that monitored by the Relaxometer mechanomyograph (MMG).

Digital Control of an FFC NMR Relaxometer Power Supply

2020
The fast field cycling (FFC) experimental technique allows to overcome a technical difficulty associated with the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at low frequency spin-lattice relaxation measurements when using conventional NMR spectrometers. Constituting a step forward than the classical analog approaches, in this paper, a

The Relaxometer: A complete and comprehensive computer-controlled neuromuscular transmission measurement system developed for clinical research on muscle relaxants

Journal of Clinical Monitoring, 1993
The Relaxometer is a computer-controlled system developed for reliable clinical experimental measurements on neuromuscular block. This system is based on an adapted personal computer (Atari 1040 ST) with a monochrome monitor (Atari SM 124), and a microcomputer-driven slave unit (stimulator).

Specific Features in the Investigation of Stress Relaxation Kinetics in Glasses with a Relaxometer

Glass Physics and Chemistry, 2003
An improved experimental technique of investigating the mechanical relaxation in inorganic glasses is described. The temperature and concentration dependences of the stress relaxation times and their spectra are analyzed for commercial glasses. It is demonstrated that the results obtained make it possible to simulate stresses in glasses and their seals
