Reflections on Brady's logic of meaning containment [PDF]
This paper is a series of reflections on Ross Brady’s favourite substructural logic, the logic MC of meaning containment. In the first section, I describe some of the distinctive features of MC, including depth relevance, and its principled rejection of ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Logic Salience in Ideologically-torn Nonprofit Hybrids
There is a well-documented tension in many nonprofits – particularly those seeking government contracts or working in areas that compete with the private sector – between the institutional logics of business-market and nonprofit-mission.

Truthmaker Semantics for Relevant Logic [PDF]
AbstractI develop and defend a truthmaker semantics for the relevant logic R. The approach begins with a simple philosophical idea and develops it in various directions, so as to build a technically adequate relevant semantics. The central philosophical idea is that truths are true in virtue of specific states. Developing the idea formally results in a

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Instantial Relevance in Polyadic Inductive Logic

A Relevance Terminological Logic for Information Retrieval [PDF]
A Terminological Logic is presented as an information retrieval model, with a four-valued semantics that gives to its inference relation the flavour of relevance, that is a strict connection in meaning between the premises and the conclusion of the ...

Una crítica inmanente de la lógica de la relevancia
In this paper we propose a so-called "immanent críticism" of classical relevance logic R. We labeI this criticism "immanent" in the sense that Anderson and Belnap's syntactical and semantical intuitive concepts of relevance are not put under question ...

On the Connection Between Quantum Probability and Geometry
We discuss the mathematical structures that underlie quantum probabilities. More specifically, we explore possible connections between logic, geometry and probability theory. We propose an interpretation that generalizes the method developed by R.

In this paper, a connexive extension of the Relevance logic R→ was presented. It is defined by means of a natural deduction system, and a deductively equivalent axiomatic system is presented too. The goal of such an extension is to produce a logic with stronger connection between the antecedent and the consequent of an implication.
