A structural reliability-based sensitivity analysis method using particles swarm optimization: relative convergence rate [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Zhejiang University-SCIENCE A, 2016
This paper proposes a novel reliability-based sensitivity analysis (SA) method, namely relative convergence rate of random variables using particles swarm optimization (PSO). The convergence rate of a random variable during the optimum evolution process reflects the sensitivity of the objective function with respect to the random variables.

RELIABILITY DIFFERENTIAL SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS OF HYDRAULIC PIPELINE UNDER FINITE PROBABILITY INFORMATION

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2021
The finite probability information refers to the incomplete probability information, which caused that the reliability indexes of the product cannot be accurately calculated based on the existing information.

Metamodel-based importance sampling for the simulation of rare events

open access: yes, 2011
In the field of structural reliability, the Monte-Carlo estimator is considered as the reference probability estimator. However, it is still untractable for real engineering cases since it requires a high number of runs of the model.

Moment methods for C/SiC woven composite components reliability and sensitivity analysis

open access: yesScience and Engineering of Composite Materials, 2014
A kind of reliability analysis method for C/SiC woven composite components was proposed, which is based on moment methods. Moment methods combining with perturbation method, the central difference method, as well as the Edgeworth series are applied to ...

Reliability-based design optimization using kriging surrogates and subset simulation

open access: yes, 2011
The aim of the present paper is to develop a strategy for solving reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) problems that remains applicable when the performance models are expensive to evaluate.

Development and clinimetric assessment of a nurse-administered screening tool for movement disorders in psychosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Background: Movement disorders (MD) associated with exposure to antipsychotic drugs (AP). MD are common and stigmatising, but underdiagnosed. Methods: We developed a screening procedure for AP-MD for administration by mental health (MH) nurses.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
