KPZ Reloaded [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2016
We analyze the one-dimensional periodic Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation in the language of paracontrolled distributions, giving an alternative viewpoint on the seminal results of Hairer. Apart from deriving a basic existence and uniqueness result for paracontrolled solutions to the KPZ equation we perform a thorough study of some related problems.

Jemboss reloaded [PDF]

open access: yesBriefings in Bioinformatics, 2004
Bioinformatics tools are freely available from websites all over the world. Often they are presented as web services, although there are many tools for download and use on a local machine. This tutorial section looks at Jemboss, a Java-based graphical user interface (GUI) for the EMBOSS bioinformatics suite, which combines the advantages of both web ...

Nuclear Accumulation of HSP70 in Mouse Skeletal Muscles in Response to Heat Stress, Aging, and Unloading With or Without Reloading

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2018
The purpose of this study was to investigate the nuclear accumulation of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), a molecular chaperonin in mouse skeletal muscle in response to aging, heat stress, and hindlimb unloading with or without reloading. Profiles of HSP70-

Fragmentation trees reloaded [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cheminformatics, 2015
Metabolites, small molecules that are involved in cellular reactions, provide a direct functional signature of cellular state. Untargeted metabolomics experiments usually relies on tandem mass spectrometry to identify the thousands of compounds in a biological sample. Today, the vast majority of metabolites remain unknown.
