Assessment of the Arsenic Removal From Water Using Lanthanum Ferrite
ChemistryOpen, Volume 10, Issue 8, Page 790-797, August 2021., 2021 The catalytic performance of lanthanum ferrite LaFeO3 to remove arsenic from water has been investigated for the first time. Fast complete oxidation of As(III) was achieved in 60 min under 254 nm. It is also noteworthy that, after 30 min, >90 % of the initial As(III) is removed. The mechanism of As(III) oxidation to As(V) is discussed.

J Anal Methods Chem, 2019 A simple and economic high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC‐UV‐Vis) analytical method was validated for the quantitation of specific Bisphenol‐A migration from baby feeding bottles. Overall and specific migration assays were done with different food simulating matrices using the filling method.

Limited biomass recovery from gold mining in Amazonian forests

The recovery process is highly dependent on nitrogen availability rather than mercury contamination, affecting woody biomass regrowth.
