Integrin‐Targeted, Activatable Nanophototherapeutics for Immune Modulation: Enhancing Photoimmunotherapy Efficacy in Prostate Cancer Through Macrophage Reprogramming

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
To further promote immune activation in the tumor microenvironment, tumor‐selective nanomodulators called RPST@IMQ were proposed, aiming to comprehensively activate endogenous tumor immunity by inducing death of immunogenic cancer cells and remodeling the tumor microenvironment, which demonstrated a great potential for application.

Higher inductive types in $(\infty,1)$-categories [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We propose a definition of higher inductive types in $(\infty,1)$-categories with finite limits. We show that the $(\infty,1)$-category of $(\infty,1)$-categories with higher inductive types is finitarily presentable. In particular, the initial $(\infty,1)$-category with higher inductive types exists.

Development and Application of Organic Sonosensitizers in Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
This review provides a comprehensive overview of organic sonosensitizers employed in cancer treatment, describing their underlying mechanisms and structure‐activity relationship in terms of sonodynamic therapy. The significance of nanotechnology and combination therapy with other oncological modalities (photothermal therapy, photodynamic therapy, etc.)

Spatial–Texture Hybrid MRI Model for Orbital Lymphoma Typing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article first proposes a hybrid magnetic resonance imaging model to discern between mucosa‐associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) and non‐MALT orbital lymphomas using spatial and texture features, achieving high accuracy. It enhances diagnostic capabilities and aids clinical decision‐making in a cost‐effective and time‐efficient manner.

Development and Validation of a Deep-Learning Model for Differential Treatment Benefit Prediction for Adults with Major Depressive Disorder Deployed in the Artificial Intelligence in Depression Medication Enhancement (AIDME) Study [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
INTRODUCTION: The pharmacological treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) relies on a trial-and-error approach. We introduce an artificial intelligence (AI) model aiming to personalize treatment and improve outcomes, which was deployed in the Artificial Intelligence in Depression Medication Enhancement (AIDME) Study. OBJECTIVES: 1) Develop a model
