A compostable PGS soft surgical robot with interchangeable modules integrates transient Mo tactile and Si thermal sensors for dual feedback. The device preserves its function after clinical‐grade sterilization, demonstrates stable actuation and cardiac tissue grasping with real‐time in vivo pulsatile monitoring, and biodegrades post‐use with soil‐safe,

Land use and land cover mapping for catchment monitoring and management with remote sensing methods
Remote sensing techniques are evaluated for their use in land cover and land use mapping. Catchment monitoring and management requires detailed and up to date information about the surface runoff, cover and use.

Effect of Bit Depth on Cloud Segmentation of Remote-Sensing Images
Due to the cloud coverage of remote-sensing images, the ground object information will be attenuated or even lost, and the texture and spectral information of the image will be changed at the same time.

ABSTRACT Traditional wearable exoskeletons rely on rigid structures, which limit comfort, flexibility, and everyday usability. This work introduces the fundamental technologies to create the first soft, lightweight, intelligent textile‐based exoskeletons (Texoskeletons) built using 1D sensors and actuators.

Interannual Change Detection of Mediterranean Seagrasses Using RapidEye Image Time Series
Recent research studies have highlighted the decrease in the coverage of Mediterranean seagrasses due to mainly anthropogenic activities. The lack of data on the distribution of these significant aquatic plants complicates the quantification of their ...

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Terminal groups on Cu porphyrins modulate the electronic states of single‐atom Cu centers through a long‐range electronic effect, without altering the Cu coordination geometry. Meanwhile, a multi‐descriptor framework is established that incorporates porphyrin regulation, hybrid catalyst properties, and CO2 photoreduction capabilities.

Image Segmentation in a Remote Sensing Perspective. [PDF]
Image segmentation is generally defined as the process of partitioning an image into suitable groups of pixels such that each region is homogeneous but the union of two adjacent regions is not, according to a homogeneity criterion that is application specific.
