In vivo influence of prostaglandin I2 on systemic and renal circulation in the rat.

open access: yesHYPERTENSION, 1985
The effect of prostaglandin I2 and two other vasodilator agents, acetylcholine and sodium nitroprusside, on systemic and renal circulation was studied in 29 adult euvolemic Sprague-Dawley rats. Intra-aortic infusion of prostaglandin I2 (3.6 micrograms/kg/

Icaritin Represses Autophagy to Promote Colorectal Cancer Cell Apoptosis and Sensitized Low‐Temperature Photothermal Therapy via Targeting HSP90‐TXNDC9 Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Icaritin demonstrates broad antitumor effects by inhibiting colorectal cancer (CRC) cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and causing cell cycle arrest. It induces apoptosis by repressing autophagic flux through disrupting HSP90‐TXNDC9 interactions.

Imaging of the calcium activated potassium channel 3.1 (KCa3.1) in vivo using a senicapoc‐derived positron emission tomography tracer

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 355, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
The 18F‐labeled derivative [18F]3 of senicapoc was synthesized using the prosthetic group approach with 1‐azido‐2‐[18F]fluoroethane ([18F]6) in a “click” reaction. The biological activity of the new positron emission tomography tracer was evaluated in vitro and in vivo.

Citrullination of NF‐κB p65 by PAD2 as a Novel Therapeutic Target for Modulating Macrophage Polarization in Acute Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Peptidyl arginine deiminase 2 (PAD2) plays a key role in regulating macrophage function in Pseudomonas aeruginosa‐induced acute lung injury (ALI). Using single‐cell RNA sequencing and proteomics, a new PAD2‐catalyzed citrullination site on NF‐κB p65 (171 Arginine), modulating macrophage polarization is identified.

Reflex Control of the Renal Circulation

open access: yesThe Tohoku Journal of Experimental Medicine, 1967
Neurogenic regulation of renal circulation was studied by cross circulation experiments on mongrel dogs. The stimulation of the afferent cervical vagus nerve caused either pressor response with a decrease in renal blood flow or depressor response with an increase in renal blood flow.

Observations on the renal circulation and secretion in the dog, with special reference to the effect of pituitary (posterior lobe) extract 1

open access: yesJournal of Physiology, 1937
IN the studies of Velden [1913] and Pick [1929, 1932], and in a recent paper by one o us [S ama an, 1935 d], attention was drawn to the very high potency of post-pituitary extract in inhibiting the diuresis which follows the ingestion of water.

Verteporfin‐Mediated In Situ Nanovaccine Based on Local Conventional‐Dose Hypofractionated Radiotherapy Enhances Antitumor and Immunomodulatory Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here gelatinase‐responsive methoxypolyethyleneglycol–PVGLIG–polycaprolactone (mPEG–PVGLIG–PCL) nanoparticles’ loading verteporfin (N@VP) is developed, enhancing radiotherapy via X‐ray‐triggered singlet oxygen generation. Combined with 2 Gy (gray, a radiation dose unit) irradiation, N@VP achieves antitumor efficacy comparable to 8 Gy, and also promotes ...

Machine Learning‐Enabled Drug‐Induced Toxicity Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Unexpected toxicity accounts for 30% of drug development failures. This review highlights ML innovations in predicting drug‐induced toxicity, emphasizing comparative analyses, interpretable algorithms, and multi‐source data integration. It categorizes toxicity types, summarizes ML models, and organizes key databases, offering strategies to address ...

Danshen injection ameliorates unilateral ureteral obstruction-induced renal fibrosis by inhibiting ferroptosis via activating SIRT1/GPX4 pathway

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology
IntroductionThe pathogenesis of renal fibrosis is related to blood stasis, and the method of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis is often used as the treatment principle.
