Detection of erythropoiesis stimulating agent Luspatercept after administration to healthy volunteers for antidoping purposes

open access: yesDrug Testing and Analysis, Volume 14, Issue 11-12, Page 1952-1961, November-December 2022., 2022
This study was to perform the first administration of drug Reblozyl (Luspatercept) for testing doping detection. Detection was possible with serum, urine, and DBS for over 70 days. SDS‐PAGE, SAR‐PAGE or IEF‐PAGE method can be used for confirmation. Indirect detection by looking at hematological parameters variation was less efficient.

Transarterial embolization of a large high-flow right renal arteriovenous fistula using stents and an across-stent wire-trapping technique

open access: yesJournal of Vascular Surgery Cases and Innovative Techniques, 2019
Renal arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) are rare vascular abnormalities. Their high-flow nature may result in increased cardiac output and lead to heart failure. Transcatheter endovascular management of renal AVFs with various embolization materials has been

Role of STING Deficiency in Amelioration of Mouse Models of Lupus and Atherosclerosis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a systemic autoimmune syndrome characterized by autoreactive responses to nucleic acids, dysregulation of the type I interferon (IFN‐I) pathway, and accelerated atherosclerosis. The stimulator of IFN genes (STING), a cytosolic DNA sensor, has pathogenic implications in various inflammatory diseases ...
