A Unified Graphics Rendering Pipeline for Autostereoscopic Rendering [PDF]

open access: yes2007 3DTV Conference, 2007
Autostereoscopic displays require rendering a scene from multiple viewpoints. The architecture of current-generation graphics processors are still grounded in the historic evolution of monoscopic rendering. In this paper, we present a novel programmable rendering pipeline that renders to multiple viewpoints in a single pass.

Venous Thromboembolism in Pediatric Bone Sarcoma Patients: A 10‐Year, Single‐Institution Experience Encompassing the COVID‐19 Pandemic

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

Claudin‐6 Protein Expression in Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumors Is Strongly Enriched in the Molecular Subgroup AT/RT‐TYR

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Claudin‐6 has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic target, yet protein‐level data in atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (AT/RTs) have been inconsistent. We analyzed 36 well‐characterized AT/RT samples and found membranous claudin‐6 protein expression in 58% of cases, with striking enrichment in the molecular subgroup AT/RT‐TYR (100%) and ...

Unstructured Lumigraph Rendering [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 28th annual conference on Computer graphics and interactive techniques, 2001
We describe an image based rendering approach that generalizes many current image based rendering algorithms, including light field rendering and view-dependent texture mapping. In particular, it allows for lumigraph-style rendering from a set of input cameras in arbitrary configurations (i.e., not restricted to a plane or to any specific manifold). In

From the fusion with nature to architectural immateriality. The seduction of the image in the work of Jean Nouvel

open access: yesEGA, 2016
Jean Nouvel has been known for creating singular architectural objects. In his career there is an interest in «immaterial» architecture, either through the use of transparent, reflective elements and lighting effects, or through the fusion with nature ...

Heterogeneity in the Global Practice of Central Nervous System Staging in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...
