Intrinsic Loop Regularization and Renormalization in QED
Communications in Theoretical Physics, 1995We show how to regularize and renormalize the QED at the one-loop order by means of the intrinsic loop regularization method proposed by the authors. All the results are the same as those derived by means of other regularization methods.

Regularization and renormalization of four-fermion theories
Physical Review D, 1980We regularize local four-fermion interactions in four dimensions by considering them as the limit of nonlocal, nonpolynomial, fermion interactions. Terms that vanish formally in this limit contribute, however, to the renormalization of induced bosonic excitations.

Regularization and renormalization of nonlinear pion-pion couplings
Physical Review D, 1974The fourth-order $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{-}\ensuremath{\pi}$ scattering resulting from nonlinear pion-pion couplings is investigated to show how such couplings can be regularized by the method of auxiliary fields. Special care is required in the choice of coupling terms involving the auxiliary fields to ensure that all quartic divergences are ...

Analytic Regularization and Renormalization of Nonperturbation Theories
1983Quantum field theories suffer from infinities. In perturbation theories, these infinities manifest themselves as ultraviolet (UV) divergences in Feynman integrals. In massless theories, there are also Infrared (IR) divergences to contend with. In perturbation expansion, the order-by-order removal of these infinities - the renormalization program1) - is

Regularization and Renormalization of the Vacuum Energy
2009AbstractThis chapter uses the method of heat kernel expansion together with cutoff regularization to separate the divergent part of the vacuum energy. After the vacuum energy has been regularized, the procedure of renormalization is considered. The divergent contributions have a structure which allows their removal by a redefinition of the parameters ...

Nonlocal Regularization and Renormalization of Sp(2) Symmetric BRST Theories
Modern Physics Letters A, 2003An extension of the nonlocal regularization scheme is formulated for the Sp(2) symmetric Lagrangian BRST quantization. It provides a systematic treatment of the anomalous quantum master equations and allows to subtract the divergences as well as to calculate genuine higher loop BRST and anti-BRST anomalies.

Regularization, renormalization, and covariant geodesic point separation
Physical Review D, 1978One of the techniques used in quantum field theory in curved space-times to eliminate divergences in the vacuum expectation value of the stress tensor for quantum fields propagating on a classical gravitational background is called covariant geodesic point separation.

Regularization and renormalization of QFT from noncommutative geometry
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2001We review first regularization methods based on matrix geometry and show how an ultraviolet cut-off for scalar fields respecting symmetries results. Sections of bundles over the sphere can be quantized too. This procedure even allows to regularize supersymmetry without violating it.

Bogoliubov-Parasiuk-Hepp Renormalization Theorem and Spacelike Regularization
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1967Hepp's recent proof that the Bogoliubov-Parasiuk renormalization prescription leads to finite integrals after the employed space-time regularization of the Green's function is removed is extended to a case in which only spacelike regularization is used.
