Reparametrization ghost contribution to superstring multiloop amplitudes

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1992
We use the sewing procedure in the operator formalism to construct the {ital N}-point {ital g}-loop vertex {ital V}{sub {ital N};{ital g}} for the ({ital b},{ital c}) system in superstring theory. After computing explicitly the lowest picture-changed states, we saturate {ital V}{sub {ital N};{ital g}} with them showing that the reparametrization ghost ...

Nonlinear Kalman Filtering with Reparametrization Gradients

open access: yes2024 9th International Conference on Frontiers of Signal Processing (ICFSP)
We introduce a novel nonlinear Kalman filter that utilizes reparametrization gradients. The widely used parametric approximation is based on a jointly Gaussian assumption of the state-space model, which is in turn equivalent to minimizing an approximation to the Kullback-Leibler divergence. It is possible to obtain better approximations using the alpha

Concept of indirect optimization of the Cobb-Douglas function via reciprocal-variable transformation: Case of unknown constraint

open access: yesExamples and Counterexamples
We investigate an indirect optimization problem of a Cobb-Douglas function under an unknown budget constraint. The proposed approach relies on a reciprocal transformation applied to the first-order multivariate marginal conditions, enabling the ...

Optimal affine reparametrization of rational curves

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 2011
Let \({\mathbb K}\) be a characteristic zero field, and let \({\mathcal C}\) be a rational curve in \({\mathbb F}^N\) (\(N\) arbitrary), where \({\mathbb F}\) is the algebraic closure of \({\mathbb K}\). Assume that \({\mathcal C}\) is parametrized by means of a birational parametrization \(\phi(t)\) with coefficients over an algebraic extension ...

Boundary reparametrizations and six-point functions on the AdS2 string

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We compute the tree-level connected six-point function of identical scalar fluctuations of the AdS2 string worldsheet dual to the half-BPS Wilson line in planar N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 Super Yang-Mills.

The modified Kamlet and Jacobs approach for rapidly predicting the equation of state and Chapman–Jouguet point of high explosives

open access: yesFirePhysChem
We propose here the modified Kamlet and Jacobs equation, RoseModKJ (Reparametrization of the slope for expansion adiabats), to predict the pressure at different relative volumes across the expansion adiabat.

Symmetries in the Hamiltonian Formulation of String Theory

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics
In the context of the Hamiltonian formulation of string theory, a widely acknowledged issue is the inability of the first-class constraints to accurately reproduce the Lagrangian symmetry transformations.
