Mathematical model of the zebrafish ventricular cardiomyocyte action potential and calcium transient

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend This study presents the development and validation of the first biophysically detailed computational model of the zebrafish ventricular action potential (AP). The model is based on a human cardiomyocyte framework and reparameterized using published and newly generated patch‐clamp recordings of zebrafish ionic currents.

Sensitivity analysis for ReaxFF reparametrization using the Hilbert-Schmidt independence criterion

open access: yes, 2023
We apply a global sensitivity method, the Hilbert- Schmidt independence criterion (HSIC), to the reparametrization of a Zn/S/H ReaxFF force field to identify the most appropriate parameters for reparametrization.

Identifiable reparametrizations of linear compartment models

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 2014
Identifiability concerns finding which unknown parameters of a model can be quantified from given input-output data. Many linear ODE models, used in systems biology and pharmacokinetics, are unidentifiable, which means that parameters can take on an infinite number of values and yet yield the same input-output data. We use commutative algebra and graph

Mechanistic insights into sex differences in atrial electrophysiology and arrhythmia vulnerability through sex‐specific computational models

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Sex‐specific models of the human atrial myocyte in normal sinus rhythm (nSR) and chronic atrial fibrillation (cAF) revealed increased alternans susceptibility in cAF males and DADs in females, driven primarily by ICaL and ryanodine receptor remodelling.

Cuadrilaterización de una malla triangular usando análisis espectral y teoría de Morse Quadrilateralization of a triangular net using spectral analysis and Morse theory

Reparametrization invariance: a gauge-like symmetry of ultrametrically organised states

open access: yes, 2000
The reparametrization transformation between ultrametrically organised states of replicated disordered systems is explicitly defined. The invariance of the longitudinal free energy under this transformation, i.e. reparametrization invariance, is shown to

From Noncommutative Sphere to Nonrelativistic Spin

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2010
Reparametrization invariant dynamics on a sphere, being parameterized by angular momentum coordinates, represents an example of noncommutative theory.

Chiral kinetic theory from effective field theory revisited

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We revisit the chiral kinetic equation from high density effective theory approach, finding a chiral kinetic equation differs from counterpart derived from field theory in high order terms in the O(1/μ) expansion, but in agreement with the equation ...

Large Deviations of the Giant Component in Scale‐Free Inhomogeneous Random Graphs

open access: yesRandom Structures &Algorithms, Volume 68, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We study large deviations of the size of the largest connected component in a general class of inhomogeneous random graphs with iid weights, parametrized so that the degree distribution is regularly varying. We derive a large‐deviation principle with logarithmic speed: the rare event that the largest component contains linearly more vertices ...
