Overview of coefficient reparametrization for two phenotypes.
On the left, main effect and interaction parameters for two variants (var1 and var2) are derived from pairwise regressions (). The interaction coefficients are reparametrized as and on the right, which describe variant-to-variant influences that fit ...

Abstract Studies have explored the relationship between text readability and processing effort in second language (L2) reading—as evidenced by eye movements. However, these studies generally relied on short texts, raising concerns about the validity of the analyzed data. This study reexamined these relationships using open‐source eye‐tracking data from

Towards a 2d QFT analog of the SYK model
We propose a 2D QFT generalization of the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model, which we argue preserves most of its features. The UV limit of the model is described by N copies of a topological Ising CFT. The full interacting model exhibits conformal symmetry in the

Singular reparametrizations of field theories
Abstract The connection among various schemes of renormalization is discussed, using a two-dimensional four-Fermi model as a laboratory. It turns out that definitions of the coupling, which are natural in a non-perturbative calculation, are connected singularly to definitions in perturbation theory.

The effect of reparametrization on accelerated lifetime tests
Efficient reliability industrial experiments consist of submitting items to accelerated life tests. It is of interest to obtain measures of the realiability of the devices under the usual working conditions, represented here by the mean lifetime.

EUROGRAPHICS ’98 / N. Ferreira and M. Göbel (Guest Editors) Motion Reparametrization
This paper presents an algorithm for reparametrization of 1D signals in the discrete domain, according to a userdefined velocity function. The application outlined in this work is the reparametrization of joint curves obtained from human motion captured ...

Change without time. Relationalism and field quantization
The nature of time has long been debated in human history and nowadays is considered of central importance for understanding quantum gravity. We focus on and advocate the relational concept of time, which was put forward in the 17th century in opposition

Time Reparametrization and Event Location for Discontinuous Differential Algebraic Equations [PDF]
In this paper, we consider numerical methods for the event location of differential algebraic equations. The event corresponds to cross a discontinuity surface, beyond which another differential algebraic equation holds.

We investigate an indirect optimization problem of a Cobb-Douglas function under an unknown budget constraint. The proposed approach relies on a reciprocal transformation applied to the first-order multivariate marginal conditions, enabling the ...

Boundary reparametrizations and six-point functions on the AdS2 string
We compute the tree-level connected six-point function of identical scalar fluctuations of the AdS2 string worldsheet dual to the half-BPS Wilson line in planar N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 Super Yang-Mills.
