Longitudinal data assessment of global stability index in kale leaves
Kale plants are usually sold “in natura” in street markets and malls. Kale leaves can have their appearance compromised by dehydration and discoloration due to increased post-harvest time exposure.

Strong causality from weak via continuous monitoring
Repeated unbiased measurements cause a continual application of the weak causality principle, leading to an apparent arrow of time for continuously-monitored quantum ...

Quantum Anti-Zeno Effect [PDF]
We demonstrate that near threshold decay processes may be accelerated by repeated measurements. Examples include near threshold photodetachment of an electron from a negative ion, and spontaneous emission in a cavity close to the cutoff frequency, or in ...

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...

In this work we propose two solutions to the problem we consider when we have multivariate experimental data of individuals with structure of groups that have been repeated at different occasions or experimental situations.

Aims: Weight loss is recommended for myocardial infarction (MI) patients with overweight or obesity. It has, however, been suggested that obese patients have better prognosis than normal-weight patients have, but also that central obesity is harmful. The

joineR: Joint modelling of repeated measurements and time-to-event data [PDF]
The joineR package implements methods for analysing data from longitudinal studies in which the response from each subject consists of a time-sequence of repeated measurements and a possibly censored time-toevent outcome.

Repeated measurements and nuclear spin polarization
We study repeated (noncontinuous) measurements on the electron spin in a quantum dot and find that the measurement technique may lead to a different met$ or mechanism to realize nuclear spin polarization.

Multiple Contrasts for Repeated Measures [PDF]
Abstract This article addresses the problem of multiple contrast tests for repeated measures. Three procedures are described and compared by simulations concerning the familywise error type I. The procedure based on sandwich estimators seems to be most robust, except for all-pair comparisons.

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours
