Soft and Transient Bioelectronics Enabled by Polymer‐Free Ti3C2Tx MXene Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present Ti3C2Tx MXene hydrogel (MXgel) bioelectronics, a soft, flexible, and fully transient platform for high‐fidelity neural recording and stimulation. MXgel bioelectronics exhibit exceptional electrical conductivities, low electrochemical impedances, and high charge injection capacities.

Ferrocene‐Based Self‐Assembled Monolayers Enable Ultra‐High Specific Detectivity in Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report perovskite photodetectors with record specific detectivities exceeding 1013 Jones with a novel molecular design strategy to functionalize self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) with ferrocene (Fc) derivatives. Fc‐SAM‐based devices also exhibit strong operational stability and enable data transmission rates exceeding 1 Mbps in a LiFi system ...

Reactivity‐Guided Janus Graphene With Asymmetric Interfacial Electrostatics for Tunable Charge Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Stepwise dual‐side functionalization creates covalent Janus graphene with chemically and electrostatically asymmetric interfaces. The resulting nonadditive surface‐potential response and pronounced charge‐transport modulation demonstrate a versatile route for tailoring the electronic properties of graphene.

High‐Mobility Chalcogenophene‐Engineered Diketopyrrolopyrrole Mixed Ionic‐Electronic Conductors With Doping Tolerance for Low‐Power Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chalcogen substitution emerges as a powerful strategy for designing high‐performance OMIECs. In aliphatic–glycol side chain diketopyrrolopyrrole polymers, biselenophene incorporation promotes a planar, polarizable, and doping‐tolerant quinoidal framework, enabling PDPP‐4EG‐Se2 to combine high hole mobility, large µC*, enhanced operational stability ...

No Additional Benefit of Repeat-Sprint Training in Hypoxia than in Normoxia on Sea-Level Repeat-Sprint Ability.

open access: yesJournal of sports science & medicine, 2015
To assess the impact of 'top-up' normoxic or hypoxic repeat-sprint training on sea-level repeat-sprint ability, thirty team sport athletes were randomly split into three groups, which were matched in running repeat-sprint ability (RSA), cycling RSA and 20 m shuttle run performance.

Repeated sprint training in hypoxia – An innovative method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The year 2018 marked the 50th anniversary of the Mexico Olympic games, which represents the starting point of scientific research on hypoxic training. Since the original “Live High – Train High”, many altitude/hypoxic training methods have been developed.

EFFECT OF THE NUMBER OF SPRINT REPETITIONS ON THE VARIATION OF BLOOD LACTATE CONCENTRATION IN REPEATED SPRINT SESSIONS

open access: yes, 2014
The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of number of sprint repetitions on the variation of blood lactate concentration (blood [La]) during different repeated-sprint sessions in order to find the appropriate number of sprint repetitions ...

Charge‐Reversed Lipid Nanoparticles Enable Encapsulation of Pt2L4 Nanocages for In vivo Anti‐Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Charge‐reversed lipid nanoparticles (revLNPs) enable efficient encapsulation and delivery of cationic Pt2L4 nanocages. Encapsulation preserves potent anticancer activity while improving circulation, reducing vascular leakage, and promoting favorable biodistribution in vivo.

Breaking Bottlenecks in Solid Electrolyte Discovery With Large Artificial Intelligence Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Large AI models are presented as a route to break key bottlenecks in solid electrolyte discovery by linking materials databases, machine‐learning interatomic potentials, large language models, and autonomous experiments. This perspective highlights how AI can accelerate the identification of solid electrolytes with fast ion transport, stable interfaces,
