Design of repetitive learning controllers

Proceedings of the 36th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002
A repetitive learning control system is an iterative learning control system where the plant is not reset at the beginning of each iteration. It has been previously shown that, under certain conditions, the eigenvalues of the closed-loop system can be arbitrarily placed for discrete-time SISO LTI plants.

Repetitive controller design in parameter space

Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001
A new and simple repetitive controller design procedure in controller parameter space, where the structure of the filters in the repetitive controller are fixed from the start and parameters within these filters are tuned, is presented here. This approach results in simple and physically meaningful controllers that are easily implementable.

Dual-mode Structure Repetitive Control

2007 Chinese Control Conference, 2006
A flexible repetitive control (RC) scheme named "dual-mode structure repetitive control" (DMRC) is presented in this article. A robust stability criterion for DMRC systems is derived in terms of two parameters, odd-harmonic RC gain and even-harmonic RC gain.

Controlling Program Flow, Repetition

1977
In this chapter, you will learn to make a program repeat specified actions over and over again, and to make it decide whether certain actions will be performed or not, depending upon values of specified data items.

Repetitive Electron-Beam Controlled Switching

IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 1980
Previous investigators have demonstrated the feasibility of using an ionizing electron beam to control the conductivity of a gaseous volume-discharge switch. We consider the possibility of using such switches repetitively at high-power levels (up to 1010 W), with switch opening and closing times as short as several nanoseconds.

Managing Control Flow: Repetition

2017
Algorithms consist of steps to take to solve a problem, compute a result, or otherwise do the work of an app or part of it. Each step is normally executed in turn, and, at the end of the process, your work is done.

A survey of repetitive control

2004 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37566), 2005
Repetitive control method is well known for its high performances in feedback systems that are subject to periodic exogenous inputs. This paper reviews the theory and applications of repetitive control based on both the internal model and external model, together with some repetitive control methods for nonlinear plants.

Study on wavelet repetitive control

IEE Proceedings - Control Theory and Applications, 2004
Repetitive control has been applied to robots, disk drives, etc. However, the memory size in repetitive controllers linearly increases with both the repetition time and the sampling frequency. Hence, the authors aim to apply discrete wavelet transforms to lower the memory requirements of repetitive controllers. The repetitive error signal is decomposed

An innovative repetitive control system

1997 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Processing Systems (Cat. No.97TH8335), 2002
The paper proposes an innovative repetitive control system in order to further improve the system performance. This is achieved by introducing another two forward gains besides introducing the low pass filter. The system's stability is analyzed by means of the regeneration spectrum method.

Practical repetitive control system design

29th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1990
The author considers two basic problems with repetitive control: the tight stability condition and the poor noise characteristics. He presents three techniques for a practical repetitive controller design: stabilizing compensation by an inverse phase system, band limitation of the control, and smoothing of the control signal over periods of repetitive ...
