ABSTRACT Background Neurotoxicity is a rare, often dose‐limiting adverse effect of methotrexate (MTX) therapy that disproportionally affects Latino children. Factors contributing to the observed disparity are not well understood. This study leveraged admixture mapping to identify genetic regions associated with MTX‐related neurotoxicity susceptibility ...

Natural Killer Cells in Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas (pSTS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of malignant tumours arising in tissues of mesenchymal origin. The role of natural killer (NK) cells in pSTS remains poorly understood, with evidence fragmented across small preclinical studies and early‐phase clinical trials.

Realization of less-pulsating flow of tube pump using non-circular gears and repetitive control
Tube pump transfers liquid inside an elastic tube by moving rollers that squeeze the tube from the outside. This working principle enables a simple design free from watertight requirement, clean and contamination-free transfer due to the non-contact ...

ABSTRACT Ewing sarcoma (ES) and rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) are aggressive malignancies in children and adolescents where metastases impact prognosis. 18F‐fluoro‐2‐deoxy‐d‐glucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG‐PET/CT) and bone marrow aspirate and trephine biopsies (BMAT) are used to identify disease involvement.

Adaptive Repetitive Control of Hydraulic Load Simulator With RISE Feedback
Electro-hydraulic load simulator is a typical test-equipment for hardware-in-the-loop simulation, and usually performs periodic tasks, in which the modeling uncertainties will also present some periodicity.

Triggered Repetitive Control: Application to Mechanically Ventilated Patients
Asymptotic rejection of a periodic disturbance can be achieved using repetitive control (RC). The aim of this article is to develop a triggered RC (TRC) framework that can handle repeating tasks that are initiated by an external disturbance induced trigger on varying intervals, which clearly violates the periodicity assumption in RC.

ABSTRACT Background Patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience reduced physical function, fatigue, poor sleep quality, and impaired health‐related quality of life. Intradialytic exercise has been proposed as a non‐pharmacological strategy to improve these outcomes.
