Topological representation zeta functions of unipotent groups
Roßmann T. Topological representation zeta functions of unipotent groups. Journal of Algebra . 2016;448:210-237.Inspired by work surrounding Igusa's 'local zeta function, we introduce topological representation zeta functions of unipotent algebraic ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

L-functions and the oscillator representation
These notes are concerned with showing the relation between L-functions of classical groups (*F1 in particular) and *F2 functions arising from the oscillator representation of the dual reductive pair *F1 *F3 O(Q).

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

TeDDy: Templated decision diagram library
Discrete functions are an integral part of numerous areas of research in mathematics and computer science. Efficient processing of such functions in a computer requires an appropriate representation.

The construction of function representations.
Whether learning how pressing on the gas pedal of rental car will affect its acceleration or learning how changingthe volume of speakers affects the perceived loudness of the sound they produce, humans can quickly learn functions from afew examples.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Functions: translation between representation [PDF]
[ES] La traducción entre diferentes formas de representación es un aspecto esencial en la enseñanza y en el aprendizaje de las funciones, ya que permite que el alumno capture el comportamiento de una función desde diversos ángulos enriqueciendo su ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Three Classes of Logarithmically Completely Monotonic Functions Involving Gamma and Psi Functions
By a simple approach, two classes of functions involving Euler’s gamma function and originating from certain problems of traffic flow are proved to be logarithmically completely monotonic and a class of functions involving the psi function is showed ...
