We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Boundary maps and maximal representations on infinite dimensional Hermitian symmetric spaces
We define a Toledo number for actions of surface groups and complex hyper-bolic lattices on infinite dimensional Hermitian symmetric spaces, which allows us to define maximal representations.

A relationship between rational and multi-soliton solutions of the BKP hierarchy [PDF]
We consider a special class of solutions of the BKP hierarchy which we call $\tau$-functions of hypergeometric type. These are series in Schur $Q$-functions over partitions, with coefficients parameterised by a function of one variable $\xi$, where the ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Relations between unitary representations of diffeomorphism groups and those of the infinite symmetric group or of related permutation groups [PDF]
The authors study the interrelations between unitary representations of two kinds of groups. One of them is the group \(G=\text{Diff}_0 (M)\) of diffeomorphisms with compact support on a manifold of class \(C^{(n)}\), \(1\leq n\leq\infty\), and the others are certain permutation groups \(S\) contained in the group \(\widetilde \Sigma_\infty\) of all ...

Stepwise Square Integrable Representations: The Concept and Some Consequences [PDF]
There are some new developments on Plancherel formula and growth of matrix coefficients for unitary representations of nilpotent Lie groups. These have several consequences for the geometry of weakly symmetric spaces and analysis on parabolic subgroups ...

Admissible representations and characters of the affine superalgebras osp(l,2) and ŝl(2|l) [PDF]
In this thesis we compute characters and supercharacters of irreducible admissible representations for the two affine superalgebras osp(l,2;C) and l(2|l;C).The work on osp(l, 2; C) includes a derivation of the embedding diagram.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.
