On Constructing Informationally Complete Covariant Positive Operator-Valued Measures [PDF]
We study a projective unitary representation of the product G=G˜×G, where G is a locally compact Abelian group and G^ is its dual consisting of characters on G.

Unitary Representations of Locally Compact Groups as Metric Structures
For a locally compact group $G$, we show that it is possible to present the class of continuous unitary representations of $G$ as an elementary class of metric structures, in the sense of continuous logic. More precisely, we show how non-degenerate $*$-representations of a general $*$-algebra $A$ (with some mild assumptions) can be viewed as an ...

Amenable unitary representations of locally compact groups
The concept of amenability of a locally compact group (more generally, of a homogeneous space) plays an important role in various parts of mathematics, in particular in harmonic analysis and group representation theory. In the paper under review the notion of an amenable unitary representation is introduced and successfully studied.

Projective unitary antiunitary representations of locally compact groups [PDF]
We give here a systematic presentation of the theory of projective representations when antiunitary operators are present. In particular the imprimitivity theorem of Mackey is proved in this situation and all the unitary antiunitary representations of the extended Poincare group are derived.

On decomposition theory for unitary representations of locally compact groups
The main purpose of this note is to give a simple example of a unitary representation of a (discrete) group, which cannot be decomposed as a topological direct integral of factor representations. But it is shown that the regular representation of any discrete group is a direct integral (on a compact space) of factor representations.

Quantum reference frames for general symmetry groups [PDF]
A fully relational quantum theory necessarily requires an account of changes of quantum reference frames, where quantum reference frames are quantum systems relative to which other systems are described.
