Tissue‐Adhesive Fabric‐Based Bioelectronics for Wearable and Implantable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An implantable and wearable bioelectronic textile (iTextile) is introduced as a unified platform bridging wearable and implantable systems. By integrating a self‐healing polymer, stretchable silk fabric, conductive composite electrodes, and an adhesive hydrogel, the platform enables conformal, stable interfacing with soft tissues. The iTextile supports

Bio‐Derived Polyelectrolyte Additive–Induced Interfacial Ion‐Diffusion Barriers for Nonvolatile Organic Artificial Synapses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sodium alginate regulates interfacial ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. The carboxylate‐rich polymeric network forms a dynamic interfacial ion‐diffusion barrier that facilitates ion injection during programming while suppressing ion back‐diffusion, thereby stabilizing the electrochemically doped channel state.

Gender in Transition: The Case of North Korea [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper uses a survey of 300 North Korean refugees to examine the experience of women in North Korea’s fitful economic transition. Like other socialist states, North Korea has maintained a de jure commitment to women's rights.
