ABSTRACT Background Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) is a rare and lethal type of head and neck cancer. Standard therapy involves surgery followed by radiation therapy. The majority of ACC has MYB overexpression and MYB‐NFIB gene fusions, while Notch mutations are associated with aggressive behavior.

Ultrastructure of Vitellogenic Ovarian Follicles and Morphogenesis of the Oocyte Envelope in the Eurasian Ruffe (Gymnocephalus cernua Linnaeus 1758) (Teleostei, Perciformes)

Ruffe's vitellogenic ovarian follicles consists of a single oocyte surrounded by follicular cells, a basal lamina, and thecal cells. The oocytes are polarized and covered by a primary envelope. The follicular cells diversify into micropylar and mainbody cells. The latter have dark and bright cytoplasms.
