Exploration and Research of Human Identification Scheme Based on Inertial Data

open access: yesSensors, 2020
The identification work based on inertial data is not limited by space, and has high flexibility and concealment. Previous research has shown that inertial data contains information related to behavior categories.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Instrument selection: The case of teenage childbearing and women's educational attainment [PDF]

open access: yes
Recent research has identified situations in which instrumental variables (IV) estimators are severely biased and has suggested diagnostic tests to identify such situations.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

CPI Inflation Targeting and the UIP Puzzle: An Appraisal of Instrument and Target Rules [PDF]

open access: yes
Employing an optimizing framework, this paper shows that a target rule dominates a simple instrument rule when the focus of monetary policy is on CPI inflation. The target rule approach produces a systematic relationship between the current CPI inflation

High-Speed Image Velocimetry System for Rainfall Measurement

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, a new image-based disdrometer is developed to survey the movement of free falling raindrops. The proposed high-speed image velocimetry (HSIV) system comprises a high-speed camera mounted on a lens with long depth of field, a backlight ...
