Implementation of a Petrographical and Petrophysical Workflow Protocol for Studying the Impact of Heterogeneity on the Rock Typing and Reservoir Quality of Reefal Limestone: A Case Study on the Nullipore Carbonates in the Gulf of Suez

Acta Geologica Sinica - English Edition, 2021
This study focuses on the heterogeneity of the middle Miocene syn‐rift Belayim nullipore (reefal) marine sequences in the Gulf of Suez and its impacts on reservoir quality.

Delineation Of Trends In Reservoir Quality

SPE Annual Fall Technical Conference and Exhibition, 1978
Abstract The diagenetic alterations of sandstone occurs in a continuous system. As a result, equilibrium thermodynamics cannot be strictly used to describe the equilibrium composition of the diagenetic systems.

Reservoir Quality Heterogeneity of the Asab Formation: A Detailed Sedimentological and Reservoir Quality Evaluation

ADIPEC, 2023
Abstract The oolitic grainstones characterising the Upper Jurassic Asab Oolite Formation represent some of the best performing reservoir facies in onshore Abu Dhabi. Yet the understanding of the factors controlling their heterogeneous reservoir quality are not well-understood and the available literature is both limited and fragmented ...

Constraining Reservoir Quality Predictions

Proceedings, 2012
An inverse rock-physics modelling strategy was used to provide estimates of reservoir parameters. Reservoir predictions made irrespectively of their spatial location, can have dissimilar ranges of variability. For instance, estimations of reservoir quality independently of their depths produced wide ranges of solutions, e.g.

Reservoir quality prediction with CSEM

First Break, 2017
CSEM sensitivity to buried resistors is a function of the area, thickness, and resistivity of the resistive body. CSEM information in an exploration process will therefore generally imply changes to one or more of a prospect’s area, thickness, and resistivity expectation.

Assessing sandstone reservoir quality

2022

QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS BY RESERVOIR AERATION

Journal AWWA, 1970
Faced with a need to improve water palatability in one of its standby storage reservoirs, East Bay Municipal Utility District, of Oakland, Calif., resorted to the use of an aeration system and realized some positive results.
