Reservoir quality prediction with CSEM
First Break, 2017CSEM sensitivity to buried resistors is a function of the area, thickness, and resistivity of the resistive body. CSEM information in an exploration process will therefore generally imply changes to one or more of a prospect’s area, thickness, and resistivity expectation.

The Quality of Water in the Buško Blato Reservoir
Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, 2001The article presents the results of chemical and microbiological measurements of the water quality in the Busko Blato reservoir, the largest in Europe, in the period 1989 to 1998. The aim was to observe possible changes in water quality during the past decade and its influence on the downstream section of the Cetina River and its numerous tributaries ...

QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS BY RESERVOIR AERATION
Journal AWWA, 1970Faced with a need to improve water palatability in one of its standby storage reservoirs, East Bay Municipal Utility District, of Oakland, Calif., resorted to the use of an aeration system and realized some positive results.

The Influence of Solid Reservoir Bitumen on Reservoir Quality
AAPG Bulletin, 1992ABSTRACT Reservoir bitumen precipitates in pore systems from the alteration of trapped or migrating oil in carbonate and siliciclastic reservoirs. Reservoir bitumen is not readily identified on typical log suites, where it is read as open porosity, which has hampered its broad recognition as a reservoir-altering cement.

Unifying quality metrics for reservoir networks
The 2010 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN), 2010Several metrics for the quality of reservoirs have been proposed and linked to reservoir performance in Echo State Networks and Liquid State Machines. A method to visualize the quality of a reservoir, called the separation ratio graph, is developed from these existing metrics leading to a generalized approach to measuring reservoir quality.

Constraining Reservoir Quality Predictions
Proceedings, 2012An inverse rock-physics modelling strategy was used to provide estimates of reservoir parameters. Reservoir predictions made irrespectively of their spatial location, can have dissimilar ranges of variability. For instance, estimations of reservoir quality independently of their depths produced wide ranges of solutions, e.g.

Asia Pacific Unconventional Resources Symposium, 2023
Abstract Unconventional reservoirs are found to have complex minerology and are strongly heterogeneous. Porosity and permeability are generally low and spatially variable. To optimize and efficient production of hydrocarbons from such reservoirs requires understanding of the reservoir quality variability for well placement and ...

Assessing sandstone reservoir quality

Water and Environment Journal, 2021
AbstractIn this study, the Hydrological Simulation Programme‐FORTRAN (HSPF) and the Water Quality Analysis Simulation Programme (WASP), were adopted as a combined tool. The long Feitsui impounding reservoir located in Taiwan was used as a case study. The combined model helped illustrate the total phosphorus (TP) mass balance. Approximately 51.4% of the
