Dual‐Salt Carbothermal Shock Strategy Enabling Ultrafast and Sustainable Regeneration of Spent LiFePO4 Cathode Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) accounts for over 50% of the global cathode market, underscoring the need for efficient recycling and regeneration. We propose a dual‐salt carbothermal shock (CTS) strategy using LiI and NaI to in situ repair Li vacancies.

Attitude Motion Characterization of Resident Space Objects via Fusion of Ground-based and Space-based Light Curves

open access: yes
Due to the growing number of fragmentationrelated debris and the launch of mega constellations of satellites, the characterization of Resident Space Objects has been assuming a growing importance in the context of Space Situational Awareness programs to ...

The Ni,Cd Heteroatoms‐Initiated Synergistic Tuning of Electron Configuration in Fe2VO4 Nanosheets Electrocatalysts to Profoundly Stabilize Alkaline Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Ni,Cd‐codoped Fe2VO4/NF bifunctional electrocatalyst is rationally designed for efficient seawater electrolysis. Synergistic effect modulates electron configuration, optimizes intermediates adsorption, stabilizes high‐valence Fe/V sites, and repels chloride ions to suppress corrosion and side reactions, thus contributing to performance improvement of

Resident Space Object Identification in Unresolved Optical Space Imagery via Streak Detection

open access: yes
Accurately identifying resident space objects (RSOs) within optical space imagery poses a key challenge in the realm of Space Situational Awareness (SSA).

Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

Autonomous Sensor Tasking And Object Detection For Space Situational Awareness Using Machine Learning

open access: yes
The space domain is becoming increasingly crowded due to the proliferation of man-made resident space objects. Our limited number of object-tracking resources is becoming overburdened by a growing catalog of space debris and active satellites.
